Golden age only for us becos of us being those impressionable youngsters…during Covid my mom made me watch so many shows with her…Saans , Thoda hai Thode ki zrurat hai, Sparsh…By god!! What shows they were…so beautifully written and crafted. Ekta truly killed ITV with her soap operas. She never had middle class sensibility….it was all too much glitz and no substance…
She basically grew up watching B&B and Santa Barbara and brought that sensibility to ITV

IQ later I realized would never renew his contracts..he never stayed in any show for more than a year…it used to bother me then, but now looking back, good for him…wish more of them did that…maybe we would have had limited episode series instead of these soaps

I guess that contract is the reason why he had a fall out with ekta but they sorted things out and he did a serial of her's with Mona singh but i guess it didn't do well.

Rajeev also had a fall out with her because he wanted to quite kth and didn't work with her till recently. He did 2 or 3 webseries for alt Balaji. I only saw the one with divyanka and it was good.

Harshad and ekta seems to be still at loggerheads 😆

Ekta did bring some really good actors. Sushant was also her discovery😔.
