There were enough complaints that were 100% facts but it was brushed away. This is just convenient. The fact is offscreen impacted the story. But they always call criticism as trolling. Ayesha gets trolled too. So do all the actors of Anu Aunty. Especially Rupali. So unfortunately neither are these the first or last actors to be criticized or trolled. They can complain to cyber cell. But the IBF complaints based on serious issues of glorifying abuse, spreading misinformation on surrogacy, adoption etc has been beushed away. They feel audience is too "personal" when they criticize but when the same thing is about praise, then its fine. That time audience getting emotional, personally invested about fictional characters is their reward, they feel grateful etc etc. Hypocrisy. They reek of it.

People infact have circulated a politely worded facts only letter so that people would use that instead of getting emotionally carried away. Sure they must have got several emails that they felt was just "trolling" but there were also a lot of emails with pure facts. They conveniently twist the narrative to save their ass. IBF is clearly a useless body that takes no action.

Sadly theres no other avenues either to officially register our complaints.

I have always maintained. It is their business, their money. They will run it the way they want. Simple hai jiska paisa uski hukumat. Channel start mei disclaimer deta hai. If you don't like it, don't watch it. Society and messaging ka tandav audience karti hai. Who is one person to decide for society?

Waise toh disclaimer cigarette ke packet pe hote hai and ads bhi chalte hai and *still* people buy it. So now if someone gets ill because of the consumption, toh kya will they file a case against the cigi brand?

@bold Exactly. This should have been our ONE & ONLY focused campaign - and like daydreamers said, based on evidence & facts.

All other points will be taken as disgruntled fans complaining against execution of plot which differs from what fans want from the show - and that is not a ground for complaint to BCCC.

Since the surrogacy episodes were already aired, the damage was already done....in the insensitivity & misinformation it spread. Nor were makers & channel going to accept their mistake. But atleast we would have sent a message that viewers will raise issues if they breach ethics & norms too blatantly. Not that it will clean up things but atleast will be a sincere & well-planned attempt from our side.

In any case, audience has the right to say that they hate the plot of the show. If they treat audience opinion as worthless then whats to say.

Washing their hands off is easy. If they genuinely appreciate the feedback of audience, they'd use it instead of abuse the audience that propels them to popularity. They'd take the feedback to improve the plot and not keep sinking lower in terms of thei cringe.

I'm hoping that at least the much needed outburst of Sai on V will happen. I anticipate he will have the audacity to question her when she marries Satya and hopefully that'll trigger her to take chandi roop. I am hoping at least the continuation tomorrow will have Sai clearly say she can forgive but NOT forget. She cannot trust him. Its the least they can give.
