After reading your post now I agree with what you said. You do have a point here. Virat’s name is not there in her birth certificate nor in any records though verbally everyone knows Savi is Virat’s biological daughter. I think the problem will arise if Virat suddenly dies without creating a will or property documents. If after Sai's marriage with Satya Savi also lives in Satya's house with her mother then I don't think Savi can claim her rights on Chavans property if Virat hasn't written her name as his heir in any of the property documents. Vinu can easily get his share of property but it will be difficult for Savi if she wishes to have her share.

There are other ways to prove someone is related biologically through science even if V drops dead now. So if its just a matter of proving that Savi is Vs daughter, its possible even without a birth certificate.

In any case Savi does not need any property even if shes entitled to it. Her mother can provide for her until she's old enough to be independent.
