I agree V doesn't need to divorce P to make Saavi legitimate. My point is if VP in invalid, then this question doesn't even arise.

But since there is a huge hue and cry about VP marriage and VP divorce... based on what they have shown.... Saavi was born when Sai was 'not married' to V. She was conceived legally, born illegitimate.

Savi herself chants she is savi chavan because in school records she is virat's daughter.

If a divorced couple has kid that doesn't make the kid illegitimate.

And virat pakhi marriage happened when vinu is 2-3 years old.

So savi is very much born legitimate because at the time of her birth, virat pakhi aren't married.
