It is related to why he asked her to jump her to begin with. She doesn't get it does she, walks away in a huff, offended he questioned her character with that jump, when his intention was entirely different. He understood her promise, but she failed to understand what his jump meant. He is exasperated as he closes his eyes tired that he can't explain his fears to her, he tried to but she is a tubelight. Then his acceptance that he will always has to save her from herself, because Meerab will always be Meerab, and he loves her like that. She is the constant he has to adapt to her.

The only regret he feels is that one day he will be too late to save her, and that day is coming soon.

My reason for why he asked her to jump is different from everyone else. I will keep that to myself.
