it’s the show which is frustrating now because it goes in a loop with no change in the dynamic between the leads.. and that is frustrating as a viewer. 30 episodes in and we have ML who has done everything possible and in heads over heels in love and has confessed it to the FL. But FL is somehow ignorant/blind/ indifferent to it.

What will make Meerab realize her love? Will it be too late for her? Probably. It’s too late for me.. even after all that had transpired if there is no progress and we intend to go back and forth with the FL character I am not gonna invest myself in it

At this rate they will stretch this for 50 episodes at least and I am not here for it.

It's the poor writing and characterisation of FL that has made the show go in a loop.. there is lack of continuity with the FL, so we are not able to connect with her unlike the ML..

I also blame the editing, they have done a bad job at it..

First of all I feel like people were very disappointed. That's why some have some extreme reactions, others just don’t like Meerub. First of all she didn’t make Maryam run away and get married to Malik. he only put a ring on her finger. Probably showing them that they have her blessing and she is going to help them do things the right way. Like I read (correct me if I’m wrong) she said to Maryam that he needs to come to send his parents to their home with rishata. That is exactly what I would tell my sister if she had someone she liked. Because that's the right way of doing this. You can’t meet each other secretly, if you like each other, do things the right way. I too would have liked to meet the guy before starting the talk with my family. To know if he is serious and agrees to send his family over, before I talk with my family. That is probably what Meerub is doing. So I don’t really feel like Meerub is doing something wrong. I think people's reaction wouldn’t be this extreme if we didn’t know who he was.

Maybe some people would support Meerub if the guy wasn’t a villain and serious about Maryam. But we know something they don’t. So I get the reaction.

And the comments about liking Haya. I get that people are angry, but c'mon. Her?

This is where the line needs to be drawn

Meerab being concerned for haya... she showing why she is perfect khani to kmk.. she keeps her personal rivalries aside

Meerab wants to make him coffee...this before Mariam kaand ... but damn why would KMK get up to make his own coffee

Today's one was not bad but it had continuity issues and the fake flirting.. other than that it was an okish episode..

You all know I always defended Meerab. I was one of the few who liked her more than Murtu and honestly I can still try and defend her in todays episode and precap but I won’t do it.

Because I don’t want to invest in her as I am losing interest in the drama. It’s becoming slow and stretchy.. I don’t mind MU, but the graph has to be tentative and not stretchy. Here the graph is so stretched it’s a line and when you put something off again and again and again ppl lose interest

I agree people do mistakes and sometimes they learn from them and sometimes they dont.

But Meerub was shown as an intelligent girl who was also an activist for women's rights. She made a contract to save herself from the marriage. She pulled up a stunt like that at the last minute. Now she is getting her SIL engaged without verifying the guy.

This is pricking me since I saw the promo. This is not the meerub we were introduced to.
