Ok, I go through the previous trp of yeh rishta. The last time it got 2.3 trp as per my knowledge it's on May 2022.

I also noticed after this leap from January the serial was almost always on number 3 position. Only once in February 23rd on 5 th position.

I had done some digging into TRPs from Oct 22 i.e., 3 months pre leap, as I believe that the decision to take a leap must have come somewhere that time.

The source I followed showed no absolute TRP of 2.8 in this period. Neither was the average TRP 2.3 in those months as per my calculations. Calculating an avg. TRP from the beginning of the generation leap till pre second leap is an arduous task and I would prefer readymade data there. 😅 To my knowledge, there is no source which gives avg. TRPs, there are only weekly TRPs. If indeed the latest 2.3 TRP was in May 22 pre leap, it doesn't seem very accurate that pre leap avg. TRP was 2.3 considering near about the seven months of June 22 to December 22 (inclusive of both months).

Like you mentioned, position ranking has been No. 3 mostly post leap. In the period of the Oct - Dec 22, it was mostly fourth. Going before Oct 22 is also not appealing to as it's already 6 months old data. 😅 My favouritism for Abhinav isn't motivating to that extent.😆 I will end my TRP curiousity here. Thanks again!

Again it's not a stable 2.2-2.3 that's the problem. It's the fact that these trps kept falling to 2.1-2.0 and even 1.9/1.8 where the danger zone starts. You never want the rishta trp to hit 1.9. Even 2.0 is a danger zone because it's so easy to fall below the threshold, you're pretty much standing on the border. They'd probably do anything/everything to get the trps away from there. I reckon if they go to 1.8-2.0 range with akshnav they'll do everything to put abhira in the front gear again but they're probably taking the slower route with those two.

But all these are just guesses. I'm pretty sure even the makers are indulged in their own guessworks when it comes to trps.😆

You explained it very well. TRP audience accepted Abhinav and may be they also want Akshara to move on. Also these three Abhir scenes are really nice. I really want to see these three bonding Abhinav - Abhir, Abhimanyu - Abhir, Abhinav - Abhimanyu rather than any romantic scenes neither akshnav nor abhira

The top show's original story has been finished since a long time but no big leap so far because it is a TRP grabber. This show has already since a short leap before this big one. The TRPs before leap weren't great, a new ⭐ show was giving a tough TRP competition, which seems to have made the new characters and set up of Kasauli were a necessary TRP risk and luckily for the makers ( & me! ) the leap has worked so far. I don't believe any maker will keep any 'cameo' or 'nepo' at the cost of profits. AbhiRa weren't getting post leap TRP popularity since Oct 22 atleast and I don't know who will look at Sep 22 data or earlier to decide whether a leap should happen in Jan 23. Are contracts with actors even signed 3 or more months in advance? No clue about that.

As far as I have seen, ultimately, ITV serials are made for TRP audience, so online trending / tagging doesn't matter much to the makers if the TRPs are good. I can no longer take 🐦 / 🐶 seriously. A good majority of people are crying on that platform for a lot of serials on a daily basis. Overall, Heaven help the PH that decides to entertain every person creating a ruckus on SM. For all that mocking and crying, Akshara hasn't even said I love you to Abhinav as yet. Many NavRa fans I know believe Abhinav will be killed for TRP drama. I don't understand where the hopelessness comes from where things can still go either way. 🤷‍♀️

When Abhira OR Nav and Akshara get together and when Abhir's truth is out then what will the show have to offer? This is the last track that can get trps and I'm sorry but 2.3 is average yrkkh trp. They got that even with the boring holi track last year.

And 2.3 and 2.1 mein kaunsa farak hain? Stil Top 5 show before even with no story. And before it used to top online trps too.

Now all they top is couple poll for Abhira which I don't know how long it will last.

Currently, there is story so 2.3 trp is not good enough if I'm judging from birds eye view. See when a female lead suffers and then comes back with a bang then trps shoot up and this has been the case for a lot of classic shows but this time female lead has not come back with a bang unfortunately.
