No I am afraid not they will never have the 'LIFE TALK'. We are heading towards the finish line with the final Maryam track, we have run out of time. If there was ever going to be a life conversation between these two then Meerab would be in school and I doubt that dream will ever come true.
KMK has his limitations and the writer who dreamt of him has even lesser imagination. She had two wonderful characters in her hands but she has not been able to reach the summit. Her creativity is limited by her own gender bias. She is a prisoner of her conservative believes with which she suffocates the characters instead of letting them mature. She says this is a pro Murtasim script, but she didn't do him any more justice than she did Meerab, he just had more lines than Meerab, and talking more doesn't mean he won.
This is a love story simple, not a story of life's journey of two alpha characters. And besides for KMK and his begum what is life to them anyway but to fall deeply in love and be content with that. We wanted more for them because they deserved better, but they will find their bliss in what is written for them and we will have to accept it.
