This is a good point. Ya know, I think with TB, Nooran is intentionally making a commentary on how STUPID, USELESS, and ILLOGICAL the parental generation can be sometimes. (No disrespect to many of our parents, I have the utmost respect and love for most of them, and still I have to admit, some of the things they hold on to are so pointless and hypocritical!) I honestly think it was a social commentary on how the older generation always think they know best, and sometimes it’s just not the case. Like, HOW USELESS were Waqas and Anwar in this whole Rohail drama? So much planning and plotting, back and forth convos in both haveli and Karachi, in person and on phone, and yet NONE OF THEM were able to stop Meerab from ultimately meeting with Rohail.
