The camera is on him for what 5 seconds and he says so much without saying anything at all.

He is lost and thoughtful at first, he gulps and chokes back on his emotions. When he looks back up the anger in his eyes he wants her to stop begging. He tries to compose himself but he cannot, he is struck down by her pain again and his eyes become wet with tears.

We did not appreciate these episodes and the little moments of brilliance enough

@bold he wants her to stop. STOP. The stern 'yeh darwaza ab kabhi nahi khulega' is him trying to jolt her back to reality, he cannot see her beg further, especially when he is around. He wants her to be braver than this. The anger in him spills over slightly as well.

He is her protector in chief, but he also doesn't see her as a damsel in distress.
