The whole movie is dumb on STEROIDS BUT OMGEEE!! I watched this in the theatre & TRULY ONLY SRK & Salman radiate star power!!! The whole theatre was WILD with joy when they entered, folks were dancing & clapping on their seats & this was an upscale multiplex, mind you, and I’ve never seen this before there for any other star. They were hooting, clapping & extremelyyyyy happy seeing SRK on-screen after such a large gap! They, esp SRK, truly connect with the heartbeat of the country. ❤️

It’s a Masala potboiler in a fancy slick wrapper.

Storyline is comic. Hand to hand combat was good but come on.. Srk taking on John looked funny.

DP didn’t look good. I don’t like this chipku weird hairstyles and sultry vixen look of her. Weight lose doesn’t suit at all.

Pathaan and Rubai scenes didn’t have any deep meaning. Just surface level conversations. There was no established connection for why Pathaan would trust rubai. Itna trained army man and just believes whatever ISI cadre Rubai tells him to. That’s my biggest issue with the movie.

Srk and Salman’s scene was good. For a lot of us it’s a nostalgia. Both looks bad but together they made an impactful scene in the movie.

So glad you going out after movie earned 1050cr worldwide. Otherwise it would have had 2cr opening and 15cr LT.

Oh yeah Deepika’s character was a joke. Was she supposed to be Pakistani in the movie? I don’t even know any Pakistani women in America who roam around half naked like that.

Nothing wrong with wearing revealing clothes but I personally have never seen any Pakistani women dressed like that. That too a so called agent 😆Correct me if I’m wrong ?

I am still not over the fact that her and SRK have the same hairstyle as each other with the same blonde streaks. It looked really creepy, and Deepika’s dark brown lips were very distracting in a bad way

Finally! I thought I was the only one who thought it was dumb so I kept quiet. This just didn't feel like a YRF spy movie at all. The CGI in Tiger movies and War was so good! And here...it was like Ekta had taken over. They basically cartoonized SRK's face. It looked so bad! And DP kept saying this was her big thing and it was so blah.

The storyline was dumb, the acting was average to bad, the CGI was scoff-worthy, and the action looked like it had been put together in one night. The only thing that I enjoyed was the songs. Literally that's it.

I don't understand how people loved this movie so much and made it a 1000 crore hit. I also don't understand how they're going to make a Pathaan vs Tiger movie and not have such bad CGI.

You're not completely wrong. I watched it on OTT last night, and I was disappointed considering the hype.

I wasn't looking for any realistic story-line, but damn the CGI + unrealistic stunts gave me headache.🤔

I also enjoyed Tiger Series and War way more than Pathaan.

BUT I am still happy for the film because :-

A) The film was un-apologetically an out-and-out commercial venture.

B) The good things about Pathaan outwteigh its bad parts.

1. The film haulted the unnecessary and ridiculous hate on Social Media for Bollywood.
2. SRK and Deepika finally got their due back, after continuously getting targeted on Social Media time after time.
   
3. Boycott gang got SLAPPED real hard in their faces..
4. The female lead had an equally important role in the film, unlike problematic portrayals of female leads in recent big films like KGF2 and Pushpa from last year.
5. Deepika's action scenes were on par with SRK and Salman.
   
6. SRK-Deepika's chemistry was top notch. Happy that they didn't cast a 20+ actress for the role.
   
7. Salman -SRK reunion was amazing.
8. Finally we've got a cinematic universe in BW with all big stars. Hopefully, they'll maintain some continuity.

There is nothing to say much because I actually hated the experience on watching these films.

The heroes harassed their love-interests in their films, and they fell back in love with them.

Why?

Because the heroes had SWAG. 🤪
