Rishi winning was expected, but pleasantly surprised Debosmita was first runner up!!

Only Chirag as second runner up doesn’t feel right, should’ve been Bidipta or Shivam

Rishi winning is one of the most predictable things ever. Everyone knew he had by far the biggest following before the middle of the season, and that he was a guarantee to win. It's like Pawandeep last year, except Pawandeep didn't start coasting and delivering underwhelming performances every week for the final two months of the season. If it was up to the judges, maybe we get a different winner. But audience is supposedly king, which is why Senjuti got out before Chirag, some of the order of runner-ups is so shocking and Rishi winning was a foregone conclusion.

That's why Debo coming in second place feels like a victory for her. Her following was not big, and there were times where I wondered if she'd get the votes to make it to the finale. The fact that she came second is huge for her and her fans.

Shivam and Sonakshi finishing below Chirag and Bidipta is pure comedy.

Rishi winning wasn’t a surprise since they’ve touted him as a front runner since the start! Sonakshi being below everyone was shocking

Rishi winning this was concluded way back ..when Vineet and Kavya were evicted. Vineet was equally talented and his old fan base would've come forward to vote close to finale..Shivam n Chirag were behind Rishi in either of the two requirements for a win 😀

And regional votes would be divided between the remaining girls coz all were from Bengal

The Top two was determined weeks ahead of the Finals. The Rockon Music Poster said it all! 🤣

I just wish that one of the best was not the last, but these things have happened before. So no surprise there.
My only real wish is that they revamp Idol and make it a proper competition, not a money-spewing sitcom.
