The reasons why Meerab is not completely giving this relationship a chance are
1) Identity Loss:
Like people say she has always been in a protective environment and she has a caring family. And one day she got to know that everything she thought was hers was actually not hers. Her parents are not her parents. This is a shattering reality. This totally shook her trust. She got trust issues. So definitely it takes time for her to trust Murtasim. Before she can trust Murtasim she can not love him. That trust is building from her side. She trusts that he will help her if she gets into a difficult situation.
2) Education:
She wanted to become a lawyer. Now she is thinking that she has no chance to pursue her higher education because she knows that this family will never let her do so. From the writer's interview, we are almost sure that Murtasim will support her to complete her higher studies. And this will help her to trust him more.
3) Compatibility:
She always has this feeling that they are not compatible. In Naila's matter he agreed that his decision was wrong. If only he had a conversation about this matter with Meerab saying that she is right it would have left a good impact on her. Both of them need to work on this aspect. And they can do so by communicating.
4) Trust:
I feel that Haya's matter made Meerab insecure because Murtasim was not firm with Haya. I feel that Haya's matter should have been handled with seriousness instead of making it look like funny and cute track with Meerab getting jealous. She already has trust issues and this matter added to her trust issues.
5) Freedom:
i feel that may be one of the reasons why Meerab is not able to accept this relationship is freedom. She lost the freedom she once had after marriage.
Murtasim is putting efforts and Meerab is also responding to the efforts in her own way. The circumstances in which she married Murtasim were different. She needs time and also the pleasant environment to think about her life. After marriage, she got slapped, was handed responsibilities, got kidnapped, got into accident, was kind of asked to leave, had to handle Haya, had to deal with fake pregnancy issue. She never got the time to think. When she thinks, she will understand things and when she understands, she may realize her feelings. Then she will take the steps to make the marriage work.
Murtasim does not have to show his vulnerable side completely to Meerab. He can start having conversations with her and start showing some emotional side to her.
In the post accident scene, if Murtasim had asked Meerab why she did not come to Hospital then she would have told him the reason but he did not ask the question he believed that she did not come. I liked it that she left from there without explaining.
