But compared to Tara, chand and family looks very middle class.

For sure, Tara comes from a more sophisticated and elite background as compared to Sarim. Her maternal grand father started this hospital which Dr Razia is running. Father too was a doctor but now has become the GM of an insurance company. Their lifestyles and their house set up definitely has a contrast. But when you see just Tara and Chand in isolation. They come across as equals.
