I think it's pretty obvious salman liked Aaliya from the start but didn't take any step because of their business rivalry. But when Aaliya changed her job that obstacle between them was gone and he then went on with 5G speed. It's said that Aaliya started working 2 yrs ago so he has known her for 2yrs and he has been controlling himself for 2 yrs🤣 even in their fights he always comes up with lines that indicates he will be there in her life forever 😆. So his lovesick puppy thing isn't sudden. He has been bottling it up for a long time🤣

He clearly isn't trying to invade her privacy or forcing himself on her. He is just being straight forward about what he wants or expects from her. That's definitely not cheap. He isn't beating around the bushes. Isn't that how girls like guys to behave? Not playing around and straight to the point.

Aaliya also seems to have a soft corner for him from the start. There is no way someone like Aaliya will take help from a guy she don't like. She behaves as if it's Salman's duty to repair her car. She never resists his help. She is also physically very comfortable around him. She is also fine with phupho and Tanya teasing her with salman's name.

Phupho seems to be inspired from Julia Roberts character from runaway bride🤣

She was young and free spirited so got cold feet a day before wedding and ran away. She was way ahead of her times and too mordern for her society to understand her.

Salman's mother clearly isn't the type to hold grudges and is very open minded. It's been years since the incident so she don't have any reason to be bitter about it.

Also I get the sudden love Salman is showing for Aliya now. He might be scared to loose her and doesnt want to waste anymore time . So he is being forward.

I did use the word cheap for Salman cause I felt that goli mardunga threat weird. I was like why the hell is he talking like typical male characters suddenly

I am so used to foreshadowing scenes in dramas that Aliya listening to her phuppos whole story gave me negative vibe. Lets see what happens.

Also Phuppo might have been ahead of her times but she seems insensitive to me. She did hurt Thanvi and Salman's uncle and Mom. But still she never acts contrite in front of them. Instead of being regretful for hurting them with her impulsive actions , she keeps treating them like her potential enemy. That doesnt sit well with me . Maybe its her ego and defense mechanism. Lets see how does she agree to marry Thanvi eventually .

Men like Thanvi and Salman are quite rare. Its really interesting to watch them in action .

I think that was said in their last conversation. she only considered him as her friend and wanted help from him to run away. Phupo is someone that runs away from problems than to face it and shammo called her out on this multiple times. She don't face it.

Whatevee happened, happened more than 15-20yrs ago and i guess there is no need for her to be guilty about it or salman's mother to be bitter about it. At that time her saying i don't feel like getting married after marriage being fixed was not an option. So her running away makes sense and the only person she should apologise to is Salman's uncle who we might or might not see in this drama. She eventually found someone with whom she wanted to spend her life with so she might not regret her actions as it ended up making her meet the guy she wanted.

They are more interesting. I don't like completely negative one dimensional characters like haya from tere bin who don't have any redemption quality but I like morally corrupt characters who have layers to them. Shagufta isn't a negative character. She is capable of being sympathetic but she chooses not to. If she wanted she could have saved samiya and gotten married to saif but she didn't because it's more important for her to compete with saif's mother. Saif was ready to run away with her and get married and she has the guts to go to samiya's house and tell them the entire truth but she didn't take any of the options. She wants to get married to saif in front of everyone and she knows if samiya's rishta gets broken his mother will find another. But if saif's marriage to a girl of his mother's choice fails then the mother can no longer force saif to marry another girl of her choice and shagufta can marry saif without running away with him. She will then always have an upper hand over the mother and she will have reasons to taunt the mother for the rest of her life.

I also like Shagufta. She is an intelligent woman and she knows what she wants to do. Not a typical vamp.

I agree . But Thanvi and Almas are not the one holding grudge. Its Sofia who is still hung up on the incident. Its like she is angry with them for treating her well. I guess its her way of showing her guilt. She did meet her love through that process but she does know that the process was not good one

@ i think most men won't go on a revenge spread if they get rejected by women they love. We only hear about the extreme ones on news that cannot handle rejection. We all might know guys who got dumbed by girls and they just roam around drinking and crying and hitting the gym and may be curse her in front of his friends but won't think of harming her in any ways. Then they simply move on. That's how majority of men are like.

In overall personality guys like Salman and thanvi are rare. As of now salman is portrayed as a perfect guy with not much flaws. I guess the only flaw till now is he has a little bit of male ego and that's why he used to fight with Aaliya. But even then his ego wasn't big enough to get back at her or try to harm her in any ways. If asfar is portrayed as a typical rich arrogant guy that shows his love for the girl by being overly possesive and controlling (typical mills and boons) then i guess the drama might be trying to send the message that don't choose guys like that and go for guys like Salman. Guys like asfar will be toxic in the long run. They have too many unresolved emotional baggages and it's not the duty of the girl to save them from their own demons.

I think it's her defense mechanism to run away from salman's mother and not talking properly with thanvi. Its said that she only went half way with thanvi. So she might not have been aware about his feelings for her and when he confessed she ran away from him as well. It's not clear if she always knew he liked her and still decided to be friends with him. She didn't want salman's mother to be at their house because it's awkward to face her and she don't like to face her problems. She don't really have any grudge against thanvi or almas. She simply don't want to face them and don't know how to act in front of them after everything.

She definitely is not a vamp. She is just grey character on the darker side than the rest of the characters and so is Saif's mother. Even asfar is a shrewd businessman and a guy that only cares about his sufferings and pain and refuses to see his father or sister's pov.
