I don't know where its lacking but there is something lacking about her character...

My comment was in agreement with yours.

Her behaviour could have been justified if she is shown to be a spoiled brat from the start. But in the first few episodes she is shown to be this strong independent smart modern woman but now she is just a spoilt brat that throws tantrums unnecessarily and have no aim or goals in life. She just roams around the house and does the panchayati jobs maa begum tells her to do. All she does in the name of revenge is being irritating and throwing tantrums only at murtu.

What happened to the revenge she wanted for which she got married to murtu? What happened to her dream of becoming a lawyer? How come a strong independent woman let someone as useless as behaya walk all over her multiple times?

The writer herself has said that she cant keep explaining/justifying her protagonists actions every single time. This was when Rabia questioned Murtasim's attitude before the kidnapping track. I guess we as viewers sometimes fail to catch on the nuances and expect the makers to keep justifying and explaining things to us. I have my own issues with this drama (all the side characters are caricaturish) but I totally understand where the protagonists are coming from and am loving their journey so far!

True. She couldn’t be more confusing or stagnant in growth. Why do we get insight in all of the characters except Meerub?

And things - very dramatic things happen- kidnapping, shooting Bakhtu, panchayat, accident, etc - Murtasim saves the day- meerab character gets no lasting reaction. She has softened post the accident but she is so disrespectful to Murtasim. I wish they have a real conversation about her insecurities and her feelings if the writers don’t want to give so much individual screen time to Yumna

Yeah there is huge comtinuity gap in her character..

Her dialogues doesn't matches with her behaviour...
