Its kinda human psychology type...sometimes we do things intentionally to hurt or see the desired reaction from someone we hate or have problem with.

I think, off late she became dependent on murtu emotionally. So she seeks his help when she falls in a problem especially when it considers his family.

Also she is indifferent to people like maa begum, anwar so she doesn't think in the angle that she is giving false hopes to them by delaying to say the truth.
