She knows because her own husband gets opportunities and awards till date and even got a superstar and former Miss World like her, all on a platter despite his flops and failures thanks to backing of the biggest star of the country who is his dad.

Jokes apart, it is true Alia got it all on a platter. Too obvious and too much, too soon. She is literally spoon fed by K Jo and force fed to audience and was made to grow on audience IMO. I have never liked her acting except in few films. I find her totally annoying offscreen and overrated as an actor.

Alia, otherwise never had looks, sex appeal, charisma, beauty or talent or depth, nor improved much and repeats childwoman act in even ads she does.

Ash had to struggle a lot and was removed from lot of films after fallout with Khans. So she knows the clanism, campism, groupism, nepotism of BW firsthand and how outsiders are sidelined even if they may be high achievers and super popular like her when she was at her peak in 90s and early 2000s. It is amazing how she was removed from films even as she was most searched Indian online and also winning polls, attention globally. And all those films went to Rani, Preity, Bebo etc.

Aaradhya is the first Indian kid to walk red carpet at Cannes or attend Cannes at all, as a toddler.

So Ash knows a lot about backing and has seen her husband get opportunities too or her niece Navya getting a lot on a platter.

There is a reason why Ash married into Bachchan family and she knows advantages of big name families, and their backing all too well.

I do not think she mocked Alia or K Jo. She stated fact and I also think she did it to take potshot at K Jo who was one of makers who removed her from big films in 2000a due to her fallout with Khans.

I feel most people target K Jo when they talk of his backing Alia relentlessly. Their target is not as much as nepo kids he promotes.

Okay. Average were made to look like huge successes and that she had no flops ever in her entire filmography. Anyways Karan has admitted to sway public perception by marketing gimmicks. Alia is the biggest beneficiary of those manipulations. That said I don't blame her for privilege as aagey se koi aapko help kar raha ho toh koi bewakoof hi hoga jo woh help nahi lega.. and I believe Alia is not a bewakoof.

I only heard this Alia replacing story for this one film. I heard Katrina getting replaced for 2/3 of her films. So for me the blame is on her
