Zaroon is conservative yes, I wouldn't call him toxic. Toxic behaviour is very dangerous abusive criminal behaviour, either you should be in jail or in therapy. Being conservative is not a crime. Zaroon is more liberal in many things compared to Murtasim, he will let his wife have a career, live apart from him for professional reasons, she can hide her financial situation/problems zaroon lets her be, definitely let her out of the house on her own she has her own life.

Murtasim is more attractive as a character just like Batman is the most admired comic book character ever, and compared to what Justice League does Zaroon most resemble hmmmmmmmm Green Latern maybe, doesn't matter who you pick against Batman he will always be Emperor.

Both men have a lot in common.

Both women have little in common.

Definitely both men are better than Ashar, who pretended to be good. But still not toxic in my opinion, just a shitty husband.

Hasan said they will have a TB round table after show end and am hoping they will ask this question and Wahaj would answer this!

Personally I was also confused and kept asking earlier! Then i came up with this He always wanted this marriage to work from day 01. He knew it will not be easy task given his history with meerab and how she was pushed into this marriage! He knew he had a lot of work to do as meerab had diff issues

- she need to heal : him being patient and giving her space

-she needs to get back her self confidence and dignity : the reason why he signed contract

- she needs to learn to trust people: his unconditional support to her inspite everything

He seen at her lowest and in her most vulnerable condition - he was empathetic but that was not love

She was like new born, lost with nothing to hold on and no one to look up and he decided he would be that for her, he would be the mother who will nourish her with all love and patience even at cost if his own sanity and be the father who would protect her from every harm that comes her way ! And that’s how he fell in love with her:-)

( Yes , I just did that comparison. I don’t know how much I make sense but this is how i interpreted)

Along the way he started falling for her all her inherent qualities which he always thought his khannum will have courage and empathy!

And lastly he realised she is what he has been searching all his life, she is his Sukhoon, his peace , his destination and that’s why he doubled his efforts and gets scared so she doesn’t leave him when she gets back on her feet and decides to fly !
