I am from Kerala and here more than half of the people don't even know what's a gol gappa/pani puri is. I stayed in Delhi for sometime and there I ate Pani puri and it's now one of my fav north India food/snack. There was a panipuri wala in front of my institution in Karol bagh and used to give 6 pani puri for 10rs and they were so good. In Kerala now some restaurants and cafes have pani puri but costs atleast 70-80rs for 5-6 pani puris. Only one restaurant has amazing Pani puri here.

In Kerala, mutton biriyani is the most common food in Muslim weddings. Biriyani is a dish that's mostly made during special occasions in my area and even in my household. But it's one of the most popular dishes in restaurants here. For lunch most hotels in Kerala will have Kerala meals or biriyani as the most in demand food.

I only like thalaserry dum biriyani. Tried Hyderabadi and North Indian style biriyanis but am not a big fan of those. I didn't even like the biriyani from Kareem's.

Karol bagh has good street food. I never got an upset stomach by eating from there. I remember there was a momos wala that used to give 10 chicken momos for 50rs. Here in Kerala momos will cost atleast 150rs and that too with only 5-6 pieces 😔
