Ok his hunt for Meerab was emotional but how he dealt with it after was intelligence. In my head canon it was actually Meerab insistence that Nyla goes home which motivates Murtasim to plan the marriage. Without his wife there he really would have let Nyla roam around the house as servant. I like to think he was inspired by her sense of justice to be the bigger man.

So he gets Nyla married in her own family so she does kind of go home, without having to send her back. He gets Jr. locked up, he defends his wife honour looks like a hero he won on all fronts.

That is when I saw this couple as power couple. She brings out the best in him.

That is why I am pissed we are not getting more moments like this.

True. In that scene we can only see meerab's heartbreak. Her voice, her baby face with tears definitely move us. And a character like meerab showing her emotions by crying infront of murtasim is big thing. Murtasim over softness towards haya since many days also a reason.

Had meerab reacted like how she reacted for gajra scene, audience reaction would have been different.

But she had tears.

Her Don't touch Me, had more impact than all the english words from Murtu Maharaj.
