As for boxing it in any category. It is not a traditional alpha on alpha love story, especially Murtasim who is not your stereotypical Alpha bad boy. It is not Meerab that is letting us down, it is Murtasim. What we feel for her is disappointment, but Murtasim is pissing me off, we want to be on his side but he is not making it easy. If you are going to break established stereotypes you need the audience on your side.

I will give them a few episodes to salvage the blunder. We are taking it episode by episode, but if we watched this show in one go, a lot many things could fall together.

It's Pakistani television and they cannot go all out with the rough brutal alpha pair romance. What we assume is on the basis of their character traits. Fact remains, they are not able to box Meerab and Murtasim. Meerab still maybe, they have put her into the ice-cold brat category but not Murtasim yet.

The centre point is them and I still believe it. Obviously if they lose that focal point, they will lose audience.

Sure the writing could have been a lot more nuanced and logical, but what we have on plate is made much better by the actors. Again, the scrutiny is a bit too much because of the popularity, because it's not that all of their current dramas are too logical. Some fictional shows just mask illogical plots well or the writers manage to do that, this one fails exactly there.

Oh i just got one random thought.. what if murtasim saw meerab entering the room and so he purposefully went close to haya so that meerab sees him and haya together and he was hoping meerab will be soo jealous that she blurts out that she loves him, she can't see him with another girl, he belong only to her etc etc

That’s why she accepted the marriage. Regardless how much angry she is the idea leaving her family never crossed her mind. That means she is completly cutting off. She still love her parents, sudden finding of her new father, she wants to stay but at the same time anger is there. Murtasam kinda didn’t leave any option 2. He said no little too late when she was already kicked out. She always been sheltered, where would she go if she was kicked out???? This kinda tells you her family comes 1st Bcs she went back to family instead of asking help from friends.

I absolutely agree Meerub has her heart in the right place but she’s a thankless girl who takes her family/ Murtasim for granted & sadly she will have to suffer for it in the future.

I keep on reading on this forum .. ohh why Meerab said yes to the marriage .. why didn't she leave.. leave where? Her family would have left her to go where ever she wanted?

Aur Murtasim nai tou stand liya hi nahin. Meerab bibi nai haan ki aur owh bhi nikal paray shadi karnay.
