Anyway, Viral Singer's offering for HR already has 20M views on YT (in 4 days) and in Kolkata is Trending at #1 for music! So there may be something viral about him.
Vishal did offer a song to Snigdhajit in Saregama pa and kept his word. That song is in the Mirchi awards shortlist.

Bold: I can’t recall any contestants from Indian idol being offered in the last 3-4 seasons. If he has then did he keep the promise. So far only HR has kept his words.

HR is better that way.

My friend’s daughter who was a finalist in The Stage a couple of years ago narrated this. Vishal, being one of the judges promised her a break & told her to contact him in Mby. Poor thing, took this seriously, & tried to. But he didn’t even take the calls. She was so crestfallen. I understand that these guys get bombarded with such calls from aspirants & it is not possible to entertain all of them. But he shouldn’t have made such empty promises. Some naive hopefuls believe all that & it affects them.

Btws, I did notice Senjuthi’s expression . 😁

Not pertaining to this season. But this really made me lol…Neha & her ooh..aahs for Rahul Deshpande. 🤣🤣. Just imagine Neha of all people & even Vishal to be in a position to give MBD to this duo…

First - if Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal are on a show together, I really don't care about the contestants. I just want them to sing. They are to the last 2+ decades what Kishore - Rafi - Lata - Asha were to so many decades before them.

But yeah, if wishes were horses beggars would ride!!

And what you mention about Neha - that is a sad truth about life. One's opportunities to sit in judgement on others does not depend on one's expertise in that area but on one's overall ability to navigate the system and rise to the top. We see this in all fields - corporate, academics, sports journalism and commentary, media, film critics, and so on.

Reg Idol, after Sonu’s remarks about reality shows I don’t think they will even call him as a guest. 😔. But we can hope … if they could call Amit Kumar after that controversy, they can call Sonu too.
