It goes to root cause that a man believes he owns a woman's body, her virginity is tied to her character and he will not tolerate his thing/woman damaged. But if her heart belonged to someone else then there is scope for redemption.

I might be the only one more interested in Mariam’s love/marriage track than this stupid Rohail/Haya drama 😆

Hmm just finished skimming through these posts. After the roller coaster stress ride of “deed done / deed not done,” and before ring bewafai stress, I’m going to enjoy some positives before hungama happens tomorrow:

1. Meerub is looking damn good in terms of her hair and makeup. seriously gorgeous. TBH, I never really found Yumna as gorgeous before TB - cute yes, but that’s about it. In the last couple of episodes she has been looking like a gorgeous classy woman. I am happy for Yumna and Meerab.…in an interview Yumna said she wanted to do a show where she looked “pretty” for the audience ( she was referring to TB, I think) and I was kinda shocked at how subpar she was looking in earlier episodes, given her own stated desire “ to look pretty.”

Thank god those choti bachha bangs are gone because her hair is so classy now 😍 ( Still not a fan of her outfit, BUT, did you notice her shiny pretty sandals in the last few episodes? At least her feet are feeling happy… ) I will take this as a win in the war against bad TB styling.

2. I LOVED how she gave it back to him in this episode. Why does she have to tell him where she’s going if he doesn’t have to tell her? Yeah Murtasim, stop being a hypocrite mard if you want your lady in the sack.

3. Was DYING when Murtasim declared, as a matter of fact, that everyone knew him at the market; and then she directly asked some guy if he knew him, and he said NO. Lolllllll not as big of a deal as you thought you were, huh Murtu? Hope he was embarrassed :)

4. Their choori and gajra scenes were 🫠🫠🫠.

Questions:

What made Meerub meet with Rohail today at a restaurant, and how is Anwar there as well? He doesn’t seem like the type to just meet up with friends or do so business at a fancy restaurant.

Why is Haya in the car with Murtasim? Did Meerub see them and get pissed, and then run off to Karachi to meet Rohail?

Ring: I know it will eventually bring them closer, but yes, will look down on her character if she brings it home. I know this presents the first real choice she has, but after all that Murtu has done for her, if not love, at least he deserves the respect of not having Rohail’s ring in the house, in their bedroom. That’s just dirty.

Btw: Murtu, cheap ass- lawn date-man hasn’t bought her a mu dekhai gift. The ring and bangles she wears are from Ma Begam. Will he buy her a gorgeous rare gem ring that’s 1000x better than Rohail’s?

Meerab always wonders if Murtasim feels something for Haya but I feel like when Murtasim questions Meerab, it will be if she slept with Rohail (I really hope it doesn't come to that)

Nooooooooo I don't want the Humsafar fight. The accusation have you had feelings for another man is not the same as have you slept with another man. I can't ever see him saying the latter it is beneath him, perhaps the former. Anyways she has asked him the same question too about Haya what went on before marriage. Even if he did he is not wrong, let them communicate and clear the air.

See, I have no problem with her meeting Rohail or if she takes the ring just to contemplate about the whole situation. Life with Rohail reminds her about dream of becoming a lawyer and to be with her friends, she feels caged in the Haveli but but but I don't want her to discuss about the contract with Rohail.....that would be very wrong.

So why can't she compare her previous life and present life and contemplate what she wants. This time it will be her own choice.

I saw comments how murtasim saved her life but she can't even love him.

Is it rule that she should love him for saving her life. Gratitude feeling is not enough which she already showed?

Ever since the parentage truth is out, she has been deprived of her agency through and through.

Her law education form was dumped in the bin, because she was announced to be married to Murtasim. When she resisted, her birth secret was blown onto her. Being snatched away of an identity you grew up with and accepting a new father isn't as easy as you could think. When she tried to make a final attempt, her foster parents shut the door on her. She was left with no choice than marry Murtasim if she had to hold on to her dignity and self-esteem.

She was blamed for the accident, which she never did and later, her husband who claims to 'love' her was kaan ka kachcha enough to pay heed to the blatant lies Haya fed him. He has a long way to go as well.

In all this and with their on-paper relationship standing, she may consider a chance to live a life she had wished to live.

Now, when she accepts her husband, she will accept him wholeheartedly and by choice. By her wish. Not because of someone imposing it or when left with no choice. She will chose to break the contract only to enter a real marriage with Murtasim.

Love for her cannot happen/begin with backyard dates and gajras. It will begin with his trust on her.

And about the scene where Meerub doesnt say anything abt Rohail to Murtasim-

What was meerab supposed to tell murtasim? My friend was here and he disappeared/hid as soon as he saw you? She literally saw him for a second.She might also think she is hallucinating. Lets not forget that Rohail is from that part of her life before it all went haywire. No wonder she is all bewildered seeing him as all those horrid memories are flooding back. This reaction of hers is on point imo!
