ishqbaaz —- the makers literally told the actress when she was beginning to get slightly uncomfortable that no compromise for TRP. The actor made the actress feel comfortable, but the makers were horrible to the actress. Disgusting directives during the shoot, and they had to keep cutting because the technicians would keep giggling…all male technicians despite the actress wanting a close set. This is why I have no respect for GK. Ekta on the other hand is very very conscious of such things.

the insensitivity is appalling. When my friend told me about the ishqbaaz valla thing I was so angry, I stopped watching GK shows, anayways I also found her shows super tacky. This whole voyeuristic scenes onky play on our banal urges. Aur Kuch nahi. When I was younger, of course there was some fun aspect to discussing with school friends, but now that I am older, I feel it was so unnecessary. I feel it has contributed to the way guys also lech at women, no doubt about it.

Is romance, an out and out romance like this one taken in a bad light among their general audience? Do they really look down upon romance? Or is it the extravagant way this is made, very much in contrast to their subtle dramas, that makes people call it 'trash'?

this is the other side of not working with actresses again - they also seek new girls to exploit. We are made to think that they are giving new people chances..but that’s not true, if you see behind the scenes., the girl is paid 1/4th of the boy and contract negotiations mei they put more such scenes.
