Are shows like Tere Bin not considered good enough for A-listers to do it?
I don't exactly know how things works in their industry, but does doing such shows take away from an actor's credibility despite the massive popularity?
Is romance, an out and out romance like this one taken in a bad light among their general audience? Do they really look down upon romance? Or is it the extravagant way this is made, very much in contrast to their subtle dramas, that makes people call it 'trash'?
Serious answers please!
I don't think so. TB is a hit in terms of TRP and social media views. Yumna is an A-lister in Pak industry, very well recognised, and Wahaj , I think have become an A-lister after TB.
Critics and Reviewers will say it as a trash romance because the story isn't that effective compared to a lot of shows but for audience it doesn't matter that much.
A combination of brilliant script and good/brilliant acting is something you will you see in Mere Pass Tum Ho, Parizaad, Yakeen ka Safar, Udaari, Pyaar Ke Sadque type shows. These are just brilliant. TB's script doesn't even come close to these shows.
YKS had Ahad but he wasn't an A-lister that time. Udaari had Urwa and Farhan both were not an A-lister, even AKA wasn't an A-lister till he got Parizaad.
