But this show I feel it’s writing is more sensitive. In the sense, the characters in ejls are still single tone - the mother of the three sisters ka Ek hi tone thaaa ..yaha relationship aur characters ke bahut layers hai

They both created fake fb account of their friends. They didn't had access to their friend's real accounts. It reminded me of the bollywood movie mujhse fraandship karoge. Going by how rich and modern their friends were i doubt they have any fb account. They most probably will be on Instagram, Twitter and tik tok😆. They both wanted a life they both cannot have and when they made peace with their reality they were able to accept each other.

Ejls is less complicated and more light hearted than kuch unkahi. The mother had some hilarious one liners and dialogues. She was irritating at first then i started liking her. She was so funny when at the end Bilal comes to take back madiha to his house😆.

Ejls also looked very real. Like the dressing of the characters and the way they shot outdoor scenes. It didn't try to make anything look pretty. Both the families are from middle class family and it completely felt like that as well.

I like srha asgar as bilal's sister in both pks and ejls. My liking from her in these two dramas made me not dislike her in aik sitam aur where she played a jealous entitled brat. Bilal and srha had such different siblings bond in both the dramas but their scenes were so good in both.

Nahi yaar …the whole FB thing was weird becos they come to know that the best friends get engaged to each other in real through FB only, that’s why the whole premise was illogical. I still feel that there was lesser layers with the father and mother. But yes, ejls is less complicated fosho but also Becos the focus was the jhoothi love story. In a way the focus here is the untangling of all the things that could have and should have been said … so everything and everyone is in focus

I am not kidding when I say hamare ghar mei chothi - bilal’s younger sister ka character ki Carbon copy hai. Chothi always used to do so much bakwas with my mom about bhabhi and bhai. My mother used to warn my bhabhi - tu chothi se bachke reh.. usse buss jhagda karvaana hai. My bhabhi would just laugh it off, every time chothi would complain about her and my mom would yell at my sis and my bhabhi would only manao her. When chothi got married she and my bhabhi cried a lot. Chothi looks also a lot like this actress. I have not seen any other show with her.. my bhabhi and I watched ejls show together and bhabhi kept saying Yeh chothi jaisi hi hai na… wiping her eyes like a fool’ 😆

Honestly I never felt from the teasers that the show was only going to be about Bilal and Sajal. In fact the main OST is very clear that it’s about lots of people.

The premise was very interesting and logical but you couldn't understand it. Let me explain, Madiha's character (I don't remember her name) created a fake fb account with the name and pic of her friend Natalia. Likewise, Bilal's character (I don't remember his name too) also created a fake fb account with the name and pic of his friend Nofil. They added each other. Now, Madiha thought she's talking to Nofil and Bilal thouoght he's talking to Natalia, while, in reality, they're talking to each other. For some time, the real Nofil and Natalia were totally unaware of it, however, when Bilal sends gifts to real Natalia with the name of Nofil, the real Nofil and Natalia also started taking interest in each other and eventually got engaged to each other.

btw I loved the story of your family more than this story. Love the way your mom and bhabhi deal with your lil sis. I wish all homes have this kind of loving bonding.. 🤗

I forgot about the engagement pics by the bestfriends. I guess they just took some creative liberty there. In mujhse frandship karoge the bestfriends knew the leads were using their accounts so it was fine and they were very close friends unlike ejls where the girls barely interacted. Here till the end the friends don't know. But the main point was how desperately the leads wanted to have a life they cannot attain and the main cause of their unhappiness is them running after what they cannot have instead of cherishing what they have. Some of their actions were not ideal and frankly even irritating but from their pov it made sense. They both at times came off as selfish and self centred.

Srha asgar played bilal's sister in pyaar ke sadkey as well. But in that she was the bolder one that used to protect bilal's character even though he was the older brother. He is shown to be afraid of her 😆. In ejls they are like the typical loving and caring bro and sis. He takes all her tantrums and buys whatever she wants.

I guess what she meant was how none of the friends noticed there is a fake account of both of them on FB. Bilal and madiha were using pics and name of these two and they had open account. It's not possible unless Bilal and madiha blocked their friends and common friends from the fake account beforehand. So nobody will see the fake accounts.

I also thought so but didnt expect so many storylines. They should have completely avoided the maid's storyline and gave importance to only the characters appearing in the poster.

I don't know why but I don't enjoy this show

Bilal sajjal chemistry is also mediocre here

its very average, doesn't feel like a novel concept and get a sense of deja vu while watching it..
