Maybe slap scene wasn't needed but rn if one can see it's the major part of their story

And coming to slap i feel that slap somehow developed some of new ckt traits of Murtasim, meerab n Anwar

After tht slap scene only imo audience got an insight of Murtasim ckt trait tht he is not an abuser n he don't raise hands on people....he looks like tht with guns n how he behaved at Malik's but after tht slap scene only they kind of cleared it tht he isn't a abuser n whatever he did he is guilty abt it n he even apologize for the same

(Like obviously not a good way to tell tht u r not an abuser by slapping someone but yeah)

Anwar - that was the first time he took stand for his daughter when he said: Murtasim aise meerab pr haath nhi utha skta, mai baat krunga n he had conv with Murtasim regarding same where Waqas anila were there all quiet - that shows whatever will happen in future he will gonna support her daughter against everyone n wo humne dekha bhi in recent epis.....so future epis me out of sudden na lge ki ab kyu itna support krra hai they developed tht trait in initial epi only tht he will be with his daughter no whenever something wrong will happen

Meerab : usne Murtasim ko maaf nhi Kiya tha when he asked her sorry n tried to give n explaination also i Believe tht slap is still in her n was also one of the reason usne wo condition rkhi thi......and then walima pr when MB slapped her she told tht "dusra gaal haazir hai tum bhi apni taakat azma lo" that means till walima she wasn't over tht slap

Slap was unnecessary but somehow it developed a major part of their story n some of ckt traits tooo

I read about the Female Version of OST being played for Haya. We have Male Version of OST for Murtasim. When will we get Female Version of OST for Meerab?

Thappad scene....

First of all...Murtasim and meerab both are hot headed person...

When meerab was going outside...she was going through so much and was emotionally and physically exhausted ..Murtasim just came and hold her ..I think he did not do it to excercise his authority...he did it to stop her because she earlier also met with an accident when she was upset...but Meerab was crying too much ...why did he not ask her anything ..why the ordering stunt pull kiya usne...Direction flaw hai ya jo bhi hai...dikh raha tha ki ko vo bahut ro rahi hai...so execution scene ki buri thi...usse puchha kyun nahi usne....

Meerab ne jo usko kaha ...dekha jaye toh galat nahi tha vo jab bhi baat kar rahe the iss bare mei...Murtasim ne na nahi kaha...usko kehta main kyun Karu tum karo...Meerab ke hisab se murtasim chahe toh kar sakta tha toh usne yahi toh kaha ki ladki ke pichhe chhup rahe ho ..itna bhi nahi hua ki inkaar kar dete..tum begairat ho...but Murtasim ne thappad maar diya sidha...ab aate hai ispe...I think it was just a reaction...not intended to hurt her...bas use gussa aa gya...he never meant to show his power...it was just instant reaction and he regretted immediately...aur vo behosh thappad ki wajah se nahi hui exactly....vo already breathless thi because of fire incident and fir vo emotional talks hui thi living room mei...thappad was the last blow ...and she fainted ..although Murtasim ko marna hi nahi chahiye tha...he could have fought verbally but reaction tha bas ...aur kuch nahi...usko anger issue toh hain means iss waqt toh the...

On a side note...Murtasim ki apology strong nahi thi...aur dikhana chahiye tha ...not a good scene...

Mujhe marna mat yar...this is what I feel about it...aur main bhi show gaur se dekhti hun and I interpreted this...I love both Murtasim and Meerab...And thappad nahi dikhana chahiye tha...but hai toh hai and I have these thoughts about it...

I think the only time they didn't show her face was one during meerasim marriage when they r looking at each other. In that episode too they played it on haya before meerasim scene.

Playing female ost on haya doesn't makes sense at all. She is not even proper third angle. Murtasim sees her as his sister, channel promotes her as vamp. She does crimes. So why to play such beautiful ost on her.

I feel they will play female ost on only meerab during meerasim seperation.

Murtu is not a whitewashed ML, he is a grey character. But he is the hero, if a villain had slapped, then it wouldn't have caught the attention. But since this was the hero, we are not able to accept it.

But if we look at murtu as a feudal lord who has some anger management issues and who doesnt like to lose his control, then it seems to me as a reaction to that situation.

He is not a man of words to explain everything; when he stays stop, he expects you to stop. That is his mentality and that is how things happen where he lives. When meerub didnt listen and berated him, he lost it and slapped her. This is in no way justifiable, but all I'm saying is seems more like a reaction. He slapped, felt guilty, went to apologise. In his monologue we hear him say, this was the first time he raised his hand on a woman.

In meerub's point of view- she lost her identity and was wanting to be alone when Murtasim tried to stop her. She lost it too, this was her reaction to his instigation.

Finally, it was a tit for tat that happened that day. The TB team, wanted a slap scene n incorporated it in an episode where it looked unwanted, so that's y we r still not able to forget it.
