Bilal's doing nice job so far. At time, I find Sajal bit too OTT to be honest but she does much better in scenes when she's frustrated and explains the cause of her misery.

I love all their scenes together. All there scenes are well written. They both are such cutiepies.

Aliya as a character goes overboard at times because she has been handling everything on her own and she still feels it's not enough.

We do have Salman, who's not your typical AYM or brooding guy. He's quite normal & collective in his own way.

I feel all three have been affected by Shammo's behavior in some form or the other in a negative way. Samia goes into panic mode by fearing the influence on Shammo if she rejects the marriagw despite knowing all the facts and whats worse is Saif is spineless himself to reject the proposal despite having a girlfriend. Shammo prefers Alia worshipping her customs over the job thus the difference in perception as she goes out to food on the table in some form or the other. For Tanya, its body-shaming and not appreciating her positives & focusing on the typical, quintessential traits expected from a desi girl.

People like shammo who has been under pressure and made to feel like she did something wrong by giving birth to 3 girls might end up being bitter and her easiest punching bags are her daughters. She is doing what the society did to her to her daughters. At the end shammo only cares about making sure all her daughters end up having a happy life and for someone like her it's getting married and settling down. She thinks samiya's age, aaliya's independence and Tanya's weight are the obstacles to that life. These are basic things potential groom and his families don't like in girls.

Salman seems to be brought up in a healthier household and from whatever we have seen his mother is a sweetheart and he has a very special and healthy bond with his mother. He is loved by his mother but not pampered spoiled simply because he is a boy. She also seems to be a bold lady with a broad mindset. May be that's why Salman don't mind Aaliya challenging him so much. He never crosses the line with her even when she does it.

While todays episode didn’t have much progress in Samiya’s wedding track, I did like it. Many funny scenes esp with the soup and Phuppo / Thanvi 🤣
