He thinks Sai is the one who left him & didn’t come back even after the accident & being pregnant with Savi. The way he looks at things he got p back for the family but he & Sai had strong relation & P being around shouldn’t make any difference.
For him P has no place in his life. She is just a duty. Irony is the first vaada he gave to P he actually fulfilled for Sai. He can’t give Sai’s place to anyone. The marriage, sharing bed has no meaning for him. See how casually he told Sai that they can share a bed when theirs was a deal marriage. The Sinhgad ka killa was what Sai did later. So sharing bed doesn’t mean husband wife’s relation in true sense for him. May be he expected Sai to show her Haq on him. Anniversary & lot of incidences when he flaunted P as his wife, he wanted some reaction from Sai. During whole anniversary he gets upset when Sai wishes him, he keeps looking at her when he is playing djambe or dancing with P & at the end wonders if seeing him with P makes any difference. He was angry @ her for that & being away. Now that he has accepted his love it bothers him that she is not showing her love. She is always a polite coparent even when he is trying to flirt with her.
He is drunk & can’t think logically. But I am not sure what exactly does he want. May be he wants Sai to claim her right as wife. But is dumb to see that she is not P. She won’t consider legality of VP marriage, the fact that he did bring P in his life as a wife is good enough for her.
Holi is the first time they are Sai & Virat & not Savi & Vinus parents. They are interacting expressing like Sai & Virat. Each episode got better & the to e changed slowly. It correlates with Virats drunken state & him slowly recovering from it.
Neil & Ayesha are simply amazing. The way they were on that bed. With Virat having his arms locked around her, his hand behind her head. They were husband & wife who are very familiar with each other. It was that comfort of intimate relationship, passion of emotions but not physical attraction. So well done by both.
The whole team should take a bow for this holi sequence. Writing is so good. Special mention to Neil. He has shown different shades of Virat & made us fall for him again. His small nuisances throughout … hats off.
