I am rewatching the TB, so let’s find continuity in the characters and show so far😆
Epi 1
Khan Murtasim Khan as a protector of his people, he will go to any length to protect his people but the truth is he does not need to do so cause he holds more power than anyone else in the neighbourhood.
Malik is afraid of Murtasim in the first scene itself😆
Malik:- Saale darr gaye hai saamne hi nahi aate
Murtasim (in his angry young man look) be like Tera Baap aaya hai😎
Raana is Team Murtasim from Day 1 he is so happy to see him😆
Murtasim really fulfilled the promise he made to Malik👏 iss baar sirf baat karne aaya tha agali baar mat aane dena Malik warna bulane par beta nahi aayega.
Meerub is the princess, and Murtasim was literally the king in episode one (which drastically changed after the wedding🤣)
Meerub sees the world in between black and white while Murtasim lived in the world where everything is grey (it clearly justified the way they both behaved in the village track).
Haya is the girl who lives in her dreamland and MB is the woman with power who took decisions in every household which changes when Meerub came into the picture which totally justifies her reaction and jealousy.
The only person whose behaviour confuses me is Anwar in the episode 1 he is all about khaandaan ki izzat but now he only wants Meerub’s happiness, what is the reason behind this change?? Any idea??
MB- Tum toh jaante ho na ki woh kisi ki nahi maanta
Haya- woh sirf apni biwi ki maanega MB (yeh Murtu ko ache se jaanti hai sahi kaha tha isne kal😆)
Murtasim to Haya- Tum khayal rakhogi mera😡
Now Murtu to Haya- Ab Mai tumhare dil ka dard dekh sakta hoon, one sided love cheez hi aisi hai, aajao tum hi khayal rakh lo mera🤬
The stark difference between Murtasim and Meerub in the episode one was Murtasim took the stand for the woman who was about to become the prey of the so called patriarchy and Meerub empowered the woman who was abused by the patriarchy.
Murtasim’s possessiveness and controlling nature comes from the position he has in his world and Meerub believes in the fact that power comes from within, don’t give anyone else the power to control you and Murtasim has always had the control over others, in this situation contract was inevitable. Meerub still following her believes but Murtasim is ready to change which is not easy but he doesn’t have any other option than to change and that’s where they clash, feeling of being powerful is overtaking their feelings of love.
Meerub’s character is still in the continuity while Murtasim is changing and I guess this was the reason why people are favouring Murtasim more, he is changing for his love. I don’t think that Murtasim is trying to control Meerub, in fact he has changed a lot.
What do you all think about this??
