kids are dancing to the DJ. and it gets hot.

Karishma comes and takes them out for kids dance. DJ bomb is inside outhouse

So pehli rasoi has started and as usual P acts psycho. She is running to go scrub the floor clean like before. She is the most useless kaam waali bai also. The color of holi is like permanent paint and she cant make it disappear.

Intoxicated K sees her and says- whats the use. Sai has entered your life, the house and now rasoi also

Ash is shedding tears for P

Vinu is in outhouse and happy to see the place and decor

Savi says she decorated it with aai and baba and asks why you were staying away from here.

Vinu says I am afraid of your aai and she will take me away. Savi says- why, she is so nice and I love her. Savi mentions how Sai was upset when Vinu became katti with her and she was crying so much but doesnt really register it. The kids dont talk about how they are real siblings and how they have 2 different moms if they have the same dad. Like seriously. these kids dont realize that other friends of theirs who are siblings dont have 2 moms and 1 dad?!

Speaker stops working. Vinu opens it with screwdriver ! Really?! one day he is a 3 year old believing jadugarni story and next day he is operating screwdriver . Like c'mon!

Kamble is watching the kids with speaker and waiting for the explosion to happen from outside

Sai is cooking and V is trying to touch her hair. Sai is uncomfortable

Intoxicated V is being insufferable as always and he is finding some nonsense recipe of karela instead of karanji while Sai is trying to get work done but she has realized theres no use engaging with this guy.

He is talking to karela and trying to make sabzi. NB is doing a good job of acting drunk but I am really not able to enjoy it due to the overall character arc. I cant laugh at his antics now or feel sad for him as they want us to be because he has done all this. He has made these bad decisions and made everyone suffer.

V says I will put you in namak water to take out your bitterness like karela.

Sai sees his drunk antics and lets out a giggle involuntarily but snaps out of it when V makes her conscious . V says your hasi is so nice and masum. But Sai immediately snaps out of it.

She keeps him engaged in some banter to avoid him doing more tamasha. She asks him to stand far away and chup chap.

P shows up to shove Sai again.

Intox V reprimands P and says- who are you?! why are you talking to my wife like this. then he tells Sai why are you only being gussa with me- tell this koi bhi aurat ki mera pati sirf mera hai

Sai tells P- you can see he is intoxicated. I am more angry than you but there's no use of trying to explain anything.

P says- ya you want me to keep sabr and take faayda. You must be enjoying all this attention and pyaar that you are getting from him.

Sai says- let me make it clear. I have no interest in you, your zindagi, your life, your pati. I am here only for MY son. and I am making karanji out of majburi.

V says what khusur pusur jhagda you are doing. Ask P to leave.

P finally leaves

Sai tells V - ok tell me recipe and keeps him distracted.

Kids are having dance party in outhouse with the speaker. Vinu gets hurt by garam speaker and drops it on the floor accidentally. It stops working

Vinu realizes something is wrong with speaker

Savi says I will fix the speaker. She starts blowing at the speaker to cool it down like we cool down hot soup or coffee while sipping and she covers it with a cool cloth. Awwle. She is too cute and innocent.

K shows up to take the kids away outside for a dance.

Vinu takes the speaker with him

Meanwhile Sai is cooking karanji and V is hugging fridge and singing Ghum title song

Sai is fed up of him breying like a donkey. Its kinda funny.

Sai gets hot oil on her finger and immediately V holds her finger and sucks on it. He does it as if he is eating chicken fingers or something. Terriblly done. no delicacy in his action there.

This act of him caring about her getting hurt makes Sai a little emotional and tear up. but she withdraws her finger away and asks him to go

V says - meri vajah seh tumhe takleef ho rahi hai. Kasam hai I dont want to cause takleef. I want you to smile and be happy but I dunno why takleef comes always. He says sorry. Then in next breath he says dunno why we BOTH hurt each other. As always he doesnt say- dunno why I HURT you always. He includes Sai also in the blame for hurting each other. He cant apologize even once while only focusing on HIS actions and without including Sai and blaming her also in some way atleast. his every apology is about- ya i screwed up but you also did. that is NOT how you apologize!

Sai tears up at his talk of not wanting to hurt her and V hugs her. Sai doesnt hug back and she holds back from giving in to the emotional manipulation to hug him back. She firmly keeps her hands away.

She feels sad and emotional but distances himself from her like a decent person who always remains cognizant of her boundaries. Thats the biggest difference between Sai and V, P, Shruti etc. no amount of emotional manipulation or history or her own vulnerability will ever make her give in and do something unsvaory. She has stayed in her limits and maintained a line.

She gives him water and V finally stumbles and falls - he is dizzy

Sai takes care of him in a very humane way. I love how she always maintains a decorum in such scenes without ever making it look indecent like V did when he was with Shruti or for P. His caretaking is always indecent whereas Sai makes it look not cringe. Thats Ayesha's nuance.

She supports him out to the room to lay him on the bed in his bedroom.

Ash watches in anger and BK is happy

BK says- see V is so happy. When did you last see him happy?

Ash says why do we value khushi more than dukh. You see Vs khushi and I see Ps dukh and gussa

BK says if Sai and V get together, Vinu also will come around and they can all be a family.

Ash is alarmed. She hates the idea of the happy family that BK is suggesting

BK says 4 peoples happiness or only 1 person's- think about it.

She calls P like a cane for walking who supported V only when he needed her as a limping man and now he needs to discard her like the cane that a person who has recovered from an accident has no use for. She really is crude in her analogy. But tbh P deserves this kind of treatment. I dont care 2 hoots. She toh deserves daily dose of being shown her place like this by all and sundry. But so does BK. She is not some saint. She deserves to also be called out for all her hypocrisy and BS. P herself can do it.

Precap is intox V pulling Sai over him accidentally and saying- do you not feel incomplete like I do without you. Why do you keep leaving me. Sai controls herself from getting manipulated as soon as she sees VP photo at bedside table and immediately walks away. She sees P glaring at her as soon as she turns to walk away.
