But I kind of felt bad for him in the precap.

What I understand is this... his act otherwise with Sai would have been the same if they were together. Playful and loving etc.

But the precap one is what shows his wish. He always wanted Sai to fight for him, claim him. She fights for everyone but him. It is attributed to her own doubts harbored from the time of their marriage. So him asking her to claim him shows his expectations on her. To not give up on him easily...
She never questioned him post leap. While he kept on questioning, crossing the boundaries of abuse unable to come terms with it. He wants her to show such rights on him.

Well I finally watched whole episode on garam sitara... Haye!!!! Kitne time baad ek pura episode with didi's beizzati was treat 🥳 I wonder what did this laal malkin gain from years of planning, plotting against Sai??? Rather even after throwing Sai out of CN... Not just Virat but most of them liked Sai but due to BK and laal malkin's influence they never openly express this... I guess 🤔 so didi can only be creeper but she was never a tree that she thought she never even had some roots. Nhi pagal aurat tumhare roots the hi nhi kabhi tum Sai k sahare us ghar mein ho that's didi ki reality...

It was towards Sai the angry look not Pakhi. Ninad told him your wife doesn't listen to you, then Mohit gave him thandai to calm down.

I disagree. Sai used to show rights on him initially after marriage even tho she felt nothing for him but then he was having residual feelings for Pakhi. Also after remarriage Sai showed haq on him but you know what he did in surrogacy track giving into every demand of Pakhi. He never fought hard to save their relationship either, bas pyaar karna, pamper karna se kuch nehi hota. He had unreal expectations from Sai to not walk out on him inspite of Sai getting ill treated by his family or his cruelty towards her or giving long rope of threads to Pakhi, let Pakhi behave with Virat, show her non-existent rights on him many a times specially in early days even after he fell for Sai like the time of ladakh trip discussion days... He used to sail on two boats tho not intentionally that he had anything for Pakhi but let her behave however she wanted. Only since 1st Holi he started changing a bit!

Yeah may be, may be not.
BK always loved Virat. Mostly because he stuck to what family expected of him. Ideal son. And he followed her husband's footsteps. He sacrifices for the family which for her, is the biggest expectation from an elder son of the household. And several other things too. She never took Ashwini's place in his life, but she knows he will obey her. Till Sai came into his life, who forced him to not adjust for the minimum and use his "power" that he earned by his conduct. 😆 Actually Sai was his correct life partner, who made him live at his best abilities.

So BK knows how Virat operates if Sai is in his life. Past few years, she must have seen him really suffering and not able to do much to the family. And Virat also threatened her once during Savi's welcome ceremony that he might go mad if Savi leaves him.

Having seen both versions of Virat, at his best and at his worst, it is natural for her to decide that Virat's happiness is important to the entire family and the next generation.

While Ashwini is worried for his heartbreak, BK wants to give him a chance. BK is practical, not like Ashwini.

Otherwise, she never bothered about Devi, IMO. She is still a regressive woman, who thinks daughter's wellness doesnt matter.

Hmm, Yes I agree Sai showed possessiveness till pyarosti slip up. It did so much damage to her psyche.

I know from Sai's PoV, there was lot of confusion. I was talking from his PoV. Yes he had unrealistic expections which he didnt realize they were. He never understood what his actions caused to her mindset. Thats why he gets so offended when she says he is sailing on two boats. In his PoV, he never did. And the way he protected Pakhi till Sammy came, and later during Surrogacy, showed that he will forgive Pakhi for any crime she does. WHY? Sai never was able to understand this question. So she thinks Pakhi always has a special place in his life, thats why.

But from his PoV, his expectations are that she has to fight for her rights, including him when she is fighting for everyone else. Sai not to returning him is something he could not fathom. Nor leaving him when they had a kid. I am not sure whether he understands it even now. He victimizes himself in this matter.

Thats why the precap is heart-touching from his perspective. It shows his urge to be claimed by her. Whether it is a valid feeling or not is debatable. From his PoV, thats how he feels.

I really wanted to feel bad for him BUT I could not.
The abandonment was asked for. Afterall he married PL! How can Sai even ask anything? She knew what she did he knew and still. And his moving on act did no good. That has really left bitter taste. I wanted to enjoy the episode and feel intensity but the hugs n near kisses n tear catching etc pulled me back.

See Sai’s wish was PL stay away from her child n husband. But he disrespected her even in death- marrying PL and adopting a child and naming him Vinu. That was the last thing Sai wanted and he kind of went out of the way and did that. If I came back n found out my husband did exactly I did not want him to after I died - that leaves no room for discussion for me.


Having said that- Today’s episode screams that on paper story is solid. But they ruined in execution

They should have shown PL leaving CN after Sai n Vinu’s death n few years later she meets Virat n help with adoption. But they shoved Virat still being bff, sharing his pain with her, wanting to make her happy (but to but convo) was all his own ask.

And everything after Savi reveal we all know. like most say1 this after Savi reveal would have looked still digestible but now is late. It is not as impactful as it could have been otherwise

One thing I noticed was pre leap initially Virat’s characterization was well thought and it didn’t come across as him crossing his limits with P though he had some residual feelings . They subtly brought out the difference between Sai and P for him . One such example was the headache scene where for Sai he gave her a head massage though they were not in love but it kind of showed he is comfortable with Sai and on other hand for Pakhi he just gave medicines showing his concern for a friend . The distinction was very clear . This is what attracted me to the show where a ML was not irresponsible by drinking around , making passes at his ex after losing her . Virat handled his break up gracefully and at same time didn’t ignore his newly married wife . He was responsible enough to ensure his wife was taken care of and her education doesn’t suffer . Though credit goes to KD but Vankar did add some of his touches to make V even more lovable than Rono . I have seen in KD , Emon Rono first night scene was about Rono’s attraction towards Emon but in Sairat case the attraction was subtle and showed V as understanding husband than a horny man .

Seeing post leap execution , I wonder is this the same team who gave us such nice scenes . Post leap it felt like they purposely added cringe scenes for negative hype .

Yeah I dont know how they will explain it!! Thats why I think they have to show illness or something to justify it. Virat CANNOT marry her for adoption. He already used her for surrogacy, against Sai's wishes. He could not have used her again. Neither I want him to get fooled by Pakhi's manipulations again, if she had orchestrated the marriage clause. Then what is the only thing that makes him worthy of Sai? He must have done something to her selflessly, just like he did for Sruthi.
