I didn't like stelena that much either. And Paul saying Nina is like a sister to him didn't help it 😆. But Stefan came out as a much more complicated character than Damon. Damon was simply the sexy bad boy. Stefan was much more darker with his going rogue days and his history with Klaus. Klaus and stefan scenes were really interesting.
The problem was Elena herself she was a more tolerable version of Bella but still annoying

I saw some clips from yeh hai chahhatein and they showed the FLs complete bare back and i was shocked. Also they had multiple consummation scenes. I was not watching Hindi serials for 6-7yrs but didn't know it progressed so much😆.

Elena was boring af. The only reason Nina got the attention was because of Katherine. She was so freaking good as Katherine. Elena was used as a prop to take the story forward. Put Elena in danger everytime the writers don't know what to do further and then the Scooby-Doo gang will come up with a plan to save her🤣.
Klaus, katherine, Elijah, bonnie, stefan, Caroline were the best characters. I also liked Lexi. I really liked stefan and Caroline's friendship but i heard they turned into lovers 🤢. Why cannot American writers just keep two hot people just friends. One of the reasons i loved one tree hill is because of the friendship between Lucas and haley.

Tvd became a complete mess by S3. It was more like a fan service than a well written show. If a new character was introduced and the fans feel he or she has a good chemistry with some other character within the next 2 weeks we will get their hook up scenes. 🤪 it's like the writers were going through online forums and writing what the fans want to see rather than showing the audience what they want to tell. Also thinking that majority of the characters were supposed to be 16-17 freaked me out. Jeremy was supposed to be 15 when the show started. American tv has this weird obsession with over sexualising teenagers. I lost all interest in Damon as a character when he killed Jeremy in front of Elena simply because he was being a whinny baby. he was an extremely toxic character and i thought so from the start. It was the same for me with the teacher from pretty little liars and Chuck from gossip girl. They were creepy as hell but was served as some hot shit by the makers.
Klaus and elijha were way more interesting than the Salvatore brothers. I never watched the originals as by that time i was completely done with tvd and vampires.
