@bold lol this is exactly why she is badly written. Meerub is not given anything to do other than be a brat to Murtasim & be rude to everyone. That’s her entire character now. No character development, no monologues to explain her mindset. She just moves from one scene to another saying silly dialogues that end up being absolutely useless bcoz Murtasim is always the one who has the last word & gets to be the decision maker/saviour.Originally posted by: Winterberry

she was in need of marriage but still asks for contract
she is not one sleeping on sofa or floor. she is super chill about being kidnapped no PTSD and now even wants him to end yeh feud.she finds it’s not big deal insulting ur husband (whatever one call the crap of track) atleast she is not tearing herself over that it’s all because of me.
She has own flaws but her meerab is not running for sainthood and that itself makes her better female char than rest who think weeping is way to husbands heart.
And if us ask why Murtasim gets all adulation then I have only this is to sayHe is probably first ML who is working on saving his marriage and Wahaj playing Murtasim has lot to do .
Literally in every scene she gets owned by everyone. Ma Begum threw her bratty attitude on her face & threw her out of the house, Naila the maid chopped her little rebellion in front of the entire panchayat by accepting Murtasim’s decision, even Haya throws her crap on her face constantly now. I am still cringing how Haya just pushed Meerub & entered the room, like a TV heroine does to a vamp 😬
Compare it to Murtasim, who not only gets to shut up literally everyone in this show, be it Ma Begum, Haya, Anwar, Waqas, Maliks over even Meerub herself. He actually gets all the important dialogues & monologues in the show. The audience is totally team Murtasim. So much so that the audience is rooting for him to get laid now. 🤣
