Why will Patralekha let go Virat? She married Samrat so that she could be close to the obsession of her life. And she never let go an opportunity during Virat and Sai's deal marriage or post that to be close to Virat; why will she now think of her self-respect? Virat is officially hers (legally I still doubt), sharing the same bed with her, and she has the support of his parents. If you see from her perspective, she has every right to hold tightly on to the relationship -- she has invested so much and patiently waited for so long.

Writers have made Ghum so much about the triangle post-leap that I don't think Virat and Sai are going to be together soon.

Virat stepping toward Patralekha is for the audience to say, "Oh, no, what will happen now. Will he? What will happen to Sai?" It is like a mini blockade, making viewers wonder how will he navigate it.
