If it assures you, at karthik-vedika time there was no indications or hints given that the marriage will not happen (for example you have today's scene of abhi taking akshara name as his to-be wife but there were no signs or indications of anything in karthik's time), and also most of all, the karthik-vedika wedding was not dragged out and was actually done very quick so that they could get to the naira being alive revelation straight after karthik marrying vedika.

Here they are creating almost parallels of first abrohi marriage and this one which give off history-will-repeat itv trope vibes, they are giving signs that arohi will not become abhi wife, and also this wedding is being dragged just like the 1st abrohi marriage.

Also a big factor is that vedika was just a cameo who could simply be vanished from karthik's life after marrying her without it causing any real big consequences to relationships or causing much awkwardness in the aftermath. Arohi is a permanent and a main character in the show and the female-lead's sister, so she becoming abhi's wife will create far more complications in trying to get her out of abhi's life to reunite abhira and will be more messier as she will still be around after that. This is more ekta kapoor's style than rajan shahi's.

Why Ak should open her mouth

Did Birlas or Ar or Bachchu Birla gave her a chance to put forth her side of explanation during Neil death incident

They directly declared that she is the killer and kicked her out

They never let her speak her side when something messed up

During Neil adoption also , beta and maata blamed her, didn’t give her chance to speak

So it’s great they are getting silent treatment

Ak is not defending herself at all … they are nonsense

But when comes to nav or Abhir , she will defend

Nice episode, I liked nav and akshu defending each other. Liked how they defended also. Ak seems angry about being blamed for Neil's death, so I don't think she accepts that. Abhi is still a little slow, but it seemed like he wanted to defend Ak but first nav said enough and then ak said enough. Abhi's voice was too small to be heard in all that. I liked how after mahadev connect, his heart connect is also back in full force.

I am still confused about how Manish and Nav know that Abhimanyu treated her like that, and they still think he is a good guy. Ak reads Nav's letter while Abhi reads Ak's letter. Should we assume ak is actually going to move on with nav?

I don't see even a little bit of love left in ak. She is generally less expressive than abhi, but right now even I am finding it difficult to decipher her. Has she done anything since this leap that says she still loves Abhi?
