I disagree with what Priya did to get the house though - the house was not hers to stake claim on - she could have asked for her half from Abhimanyu’s share, but not the house.

I think it is very natural for the child to take a backseat when there is so much turmoil in the parents relationship, that doesn’t make either parent a bad one. No matter what ITV portrays, mom is a mom, dad is dad and that should be it. This kaisi ma ho, kaise baap ho is absolutely unnecessary.

I think from Dev’s perspective he knows how his family is, and if Vidhi says the wrong thing at the wrong time, they will not hesitate to give it back and that is something he won’t be able to tolerate. I think that is why he has been insistent that she doesn’t speak out of place - he keeps saying that you’re new here, you don’t understand the dynamics. This I think is right. She definitely needs to stay out of abhi and Priya’s drama. She can provide a shoulder for priya/abhi to cry on and ask them to talk to each other, but that’s about it. She is no one to decide how their relationship proceeds or ends.

Yeah very true... am glad these differences between Dev and Vidhi didi's ways of thinking and upbringing are being brought out! It's much needed and very normal in a married couple's life! Marriage is not just a bed of roses and no two people can spend their lives just by saying I Love You to each other...

Getting and staying marriage is indeed a marathon - both have to work to build a healthy, respectful relationship where you understand and respect each other's POV and take the parts you like about each other; while trying to ignore the parts that don't gel with you!

Baaki Indian families not having any concept of boundaries - you can conveniently extend that to Asian families 🤣🤣 we may look and speak different languages in Asia, but under the hood we Asians are the same! We live life thinking we own every relationship in our lives 😆😆
