And I don't know if its my stand to say this..I've seen females at high positions in personal life,taking decisions of even other's life and definetely apni ke toh lene hi hai amd always praising their husband,his support but this sense of belonging to him excites them,they love their husband's possesiveness and all,baki when I'll get married than I will understand it more aptly..

I don’t have issues with Murtasim saying you are mine to Meerab. In fact he has my full permission to caress her hands and cheeks and call her his or just before he claims her as his ( going to dreamland with this)

my issue is that entire exchange between Anwar and Murtu is that it strips Meerab of her agency particularly post MB’s line that her right precedes that of a wife.Murtasim can claim Meerab, his right as a husband curtailing that of her father and her own insistence that she doesn’t want to go, because she is his.

And it once again gives all the power to men and their family. A girl is a wife first, daughter second. A man is son first, husband second. Though I guess it’s mitigated by Murtasim standing up for Meerab but again they are reunited because he could and had a right to take a stand. She couldn’t have said to MB- you have to let me see him as I have a right as a wife to see him because her right is secondary to that of his mother. So while she is his, he isn’t hers?!

Anyway it was just an observation. Nothing serious

I am enjoying this show a lot. The drama, the romance, even the characters are looking fun to me now. I have accepted I gotta watch this show shutting my brain & truly it’s more entertaining this way.

Anyways the episode was ❤️. Murtasim is a powerful character. The way he has answers for everything/everyone & always gets what he wants. 👏Meerub is so cute. I love her confusion wrt Murtasim. She is falling in love with him but not accepting it. Girl wants to be with him but attitude bhi dikhana h 😆

Even Haya doesn’t annoy me now. She’s trying so hard but Mariam uski baja deti h. Meerub-Haya scenes are actually interesting bcoz both girls show each other the reality which they don’t want to accept for themselves.

I am starting to like Ma Begum. She is old fashioned but she talks sense most of the time, considering her social background, her love for Murtasim & Meerub’s unnecessary rebellious attitude. Anwar is redeeming himself. Even Waqas & Aneela too. But hoping in their guilt, they don’t ruin Murtasim & Meerub’s relationship.

overall this show is worth watching for me.

Bro, she is his wife and I didn’t find anything wrong in that scene he just stated the facts, if suppose Meerub in front of Haya says, that Murtasim is mine, no one is going to question it, everybody is going to be so comfortable and would enjoy the show. But if it’s Murtasim who is saying this it is a problem, not everything in this world revolves around Feminism, be feminist when it’s necessary but if you are going to do this in every aspect of your life it becomes pseudo and doesn’t hold any importance, when you marries a person you give your consent to be his/her wife and husband. If someone thinks that Murtasim claiming his wife for all the right reasons is against feminism then we surely need to study what really feminism is🤷‍♀️

Not trying to be a feminist at all. I am married. My husband has called me his, I have called him mine so I am not letting feminism dictate my entire life, surely.

But yes- with Meerab- Murtasim the line could better used in a different circumstances. Meerab was asking him to let her go, her father had also told him the same but he replies by saying she is mine, my right over her precedes that of yours and also that of her own opinion strips her of her agency.

I want Murtasim to claim she is his and only his. He can tattoo that on Rohail’s forehead for all I care but in that circumstances it just felt off. And I know it’s an unpopular opinion

In all honesty, a show like Tere Bin will not come again for a very long time. The popularity and the craze for a lovestory like this is rare. Most end up being underrated and are appreciated much later. This one isn't anything too pathbreaking in terms of plot/storyline but when you watch the episodes, the popularity seems valid. Wahaj and Yumna have managed to create something good onscreen.

Also, seeing the response to Meerab and how self-proclaimed feminist reviewers( like Aamna) are Team Murtasim just makes me realise how the audience are not yet ready for a tough, bratty female lead, someone who is hard to get, and does not given in to her husband's wooing. While the same audience would gladly accept a tough-to-get bratty hero, in the hopes of some 'redemption' or 'growth'. Can we not enjoy the tables being turned for once? 😆

Tere bin reminds me of humsafar craze. Even humsafar as a story was very simple, but it was the chemistry, soundtrack, dialogues, acting that created the magic. I don’t want to compare couples, but from a script and director standard humsafar is still unmatched.

But yes we should enjoy tere bin, great love stories with great actors are not often made. How great is it really let’s leave that judgement later, just live in the moment, we are all having fun aren’t we. I am still waiting since 1995 for a great British period drama romance, I will die before I get another one.

Do you think Amna is a feminist, I even hate the word because it is turning into man hating but you know what I mean. I can’t put my finger on it, but I feel that she is harsher on women than on men when she reviews dramas.

Good morning guys!! I loved the episode. Itna zyada ki I saw it twice and then went to sleep with their haseen thoughts in my mind ☺️☺️

There were continuity and logic loopholes. But i guess we have learnt to live with it now 😆

The garden scene where Murtasim is so broken by the thought that Meerab has left him. Wahaj yaaar....tum dil le lo mera 😍😍😍😍 his bloodshot eyes. His broken voice. So perfect. And yumna too. She looked so beautiful in the scene. And conveyed so many diverse emotions with just her eyes. Yaaar kamaal ke actors hai dono hi. We are lucky we get to see their magic twice a week ❤️❤️

Murtasim is such a honest person. Uski biwi ne usko mana kiya hai bed pe sone ke liye. Itna loyal hai banda jab biwi nahi hai phir bhi saari raat sofe pe guzar di 😂😂😂

Murtasim walking in slow motion to go get his wife. Him jataoing haq on her. Declaring ki meerab sirf meri hai. Then him blasting off maa begum. Gussa karte hue kitna hot lagta hai banda 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The bedroom hand-holding scene ❤️❤️❤️ The most romantic scene i have seen in any drama in recent times. It was shot beautifully and performed to perfection by both Yumna and Wahaj. Indirectly Murtasim has already confessed. Meerab is his jaan. His wish is to giraftaar her in his mohabbat. 😍😍😍 Yumna gave such perfect expressions here. Meerab was lost, mesmerized, confused, and feeling attraction all at once.

Finally Murtasim ko bed mubarak ho 😁😁 the way he said kaash yeh zakhm kabhi na bhare 😂😂😂 ladka bada naughty hai waise 😅😅

Meerab bibi - aap apne shauhar ko itne dino se sofe pe sula rahi hai. Aur khud ek raat bhi nahi so paayi. Where is your sense of justice and equality now?? Now that you know how bloody uncomfortable that piece of furniture is, pls don't make your husband go back there in future 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Mujhe yaar aaj pure episode mei Yumna pe bada pyaar aaya. How cute was she when she was checking whether Murtasim is really asleep or not 😆 cutie pie 😍

Aaaand they are back to fighting! 😁😁 Yeh achha hai. Meerab zyada der subdued achhi nahi lagti. And this was a very cute fight. There was an undercurrent of physical attraction. Murtasim has no qualms in accepting ki haq hai uska. And Meerab was being so defensive coz she knows her walls have started to crack 😜😜 and end mei woh dhakka deti hai. Bechari bhul gayi he is still injured 😂

I am guessing Murtasim will forgive Mallik. Maa begum will again get insecure. And I feel yahi decision hoga jo later on Meerab ki fault ban jayegi in maryam kaand 🙄🙄

BTW, I like the way maa begum is written. She is not evil or negative or conspiring against her beta and bahu. She realizes she was harsh with Meerab. She considers talking to Anwar and finding a solution. She sees her son is unhappy without his wife. And she wants to see him happy. Niyat achhi hai maa ki.

Bas her fault is that she is kaan ki kacchi. Haya is targeting her weak points and she is getting easily played. 😕😕

P.S. i saw the interview also. Kaafi thoughts uspe bhi hai 😅😅 but first, I wanted to praise the makers. Absolutely satisfying episode! 😊
