Re: bold - I 💯 agree. It doesn’t have to mean ownership in the “she’s my property” sense. Thats also how I view the scenes and him jataoing his haq lines. This harkens back to the wedding scene where she looks in the mirror, and her reflection is their image. She can still maintain her own identity amidst this new joint identity that they have entered into. (Remember that Murtasim says that she can still be herself…himmatwali hoslawali, but bhaisaab is also finding out for himself that it takes time. ) My husband and I have our own separate identities. Yet, I personally view my husband as part of my identity as well, and he does the same. It takes some time to figure out and get used to how these individual and joint identities co-exist, where and what boundaries there are etc. Some folks don’t make it because frankly it’s a lot of work, especially when you have two very independent partners in the first place and an outside world with its own separate interests. I guess, this is what we are seeing here in this story, or what I see at least. A push and pull, back and forth, roller coaster ride of ups and downs, until they come to some manageable equilibrium. But it will take time!!!

I tell my husband he’s mine, and he tells me I’m his and we take pride in that. It took time. So that’s how I choose to view Murtasim’s love for her as well. In a beautiful and non-demeaning way, he owns her and SHE OWNS HIM…because seriously, look at the dude… he’s already a goner for her… changing slowly but surely for her, giving up his sleep for her, ready to die for her, tie his Izzat with her, and he will do more for her in the future, with time. For this previously huffed up-puffed up Gaddi Nasheen, Sher of the jungle, Qayamat ka King - that is pretty pretty huge.

Can I just appreciate Wahaj.

Yumna I've watched before and aware of her talent. She will deliver.

But Wahaj - first time.👏👏👏

I'm so glad I have none of his earlier shows/work to compare him to as I'm very selective of what I watch.

Wow! Like Wow!😲😲😲

The way he owns the character.

The nuances.

The subtle tiny shifts that are captured.

The shifts between the honourable man, the son, the husband.

In the garden scene it reminded me of her walima stance "like mother like son". I wondered why they showed that in the promo. Meerubs feeling that she was right, irrespective of all his claims in the end he conformed to the way of thinking of his family.

And that's a huge fear for her.

Remember she's lost everything. Especially her identity. So, in the end is he really hers as he wants her to believe?

Both are dejected and broken. Near death experiences do make you jolst into awake to the reality you're living. Hence I guess his question of - did we have nothing between us?

Truth bomb drops and he doesn't hesitate.

Ohmydz... it was so power packed from the moment he strode to grab his wife's hand, the heated exchange between him and the elders.

I understand when he says "she is mine" it may seem like she's something to own. But I see it in the context of when all her identities were stripped from her it was him only that was standing beside her and with her. So, in this instance - she is Meerub, but she is also Murtasim's wife. It's a major part of her identity now. I guess I'm going to understand it through these lens.

MB atleast accepts. Alot said, his visible shame when reminded about the gao fiasco, but Murtasim is like a man who has been given an inch (by maryam) that Meerub had chosen to be by his side ...and I like how the izzat has come back that it's not always about outsider's- the people near and dear need to understand the same about his wife being his izzat. The line about a widow not being treated in the way his wife was.👌👌👌

And their bedroom.... she is not expecting much change from his family.

There's just way too much to capture.

Wahaj and Yuumna emoted so beautifully.

And She slept under the same duvet as him 😲

(All I could see was the wrinkled bedsheets, pillow cover🤔 🤦‍♀️ - I mean it was the FIRST time they're sharing a bed....all that should've gleamed with happiness right?!😁)

Murtasim face in the morning. He looked like he'd slept one of the best nights of his life. So content, satisfied, fulfilled, just because he's sleeping next to his wife.

The way he was just basking in that moment was beautifully done by Wahaj.

MB just walks into her married son's bedroom w/out knocking? 😲

Does she not want grandchildren anytime soon😲

🤭😁😆😁😆😄

Ewwwww how can beHaya touch him and get away with it? Need to rinse my eyes out with saltwater and vinegar 🤣

Did i type all that at 12:56am? 🤔

It was a banger episode 👍🏼

Loved the chemistry , this PTV drama seems bold coz the leads have so much chemistry . Damn .. kyunki yeh log aankho mai bhi dekhtein hain na , ek doosre ke , toh lagta hai - bohut intimate koi scene chal raha hai 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🌚

Coz hand holding , taking heroine in arm has happened before in PTV . But , to evoke that much mushy feeling in audience - is an art itself , and an achievement .

Then the way , he declared that " meerab was only his " seems a pretty powerful move . Now i can understand , where Murtasim's Deewangi for meerab coming from . It's from the idea that , he owns her , as he is man enough to always stand with her . While the other men in meerab's life are quite spineless compared to him . So Murtasim thinks , he is the only one deserving of her love .........

Then come the bedroom scenes . The hand caressing scene was so hooooot.. even i have tweeted it too .

And all of it is the amalgamation of Murtasim's soft words , his intense eyes , his inner desire to be close to her . And most importantly , he is trying to conquer her . Murtasim has done it emotionally , as meerab is getting affected ( and he knows it ) . Now , he wants to seal the deal by getting her Physically too . No , him thinking like this is nothing wrong .

He proves this by saying " biwi ho meri , haq hai mera tumpe "

But probably , meerab wants time to fully accept him as her husband . But girl , he had already proved it by saving you over his life . Nevertheless , the fun would be gone if there is no fight between them right ? So all well and good

All in all a good episode ( though Continuity issues , but Meerasim scenes itne acche Dene ke liye saath khoon maaf )🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️🎉❤️❤️❤️

Rewatched the entire episode

The hand holding scene he touches her hair there too but the gal is chill subah she has issues lol... it’s about consent I guess

The bed scene is too epic ... the way he pulls the pillow... their other two hands touching and the way murtism just gets scared when Trex wakes up... he knows the gal will blast and is ready with his defence

Hiee guyss...

Loving every bit of the episode but now watching with a fear of their separation..

Don't know why it always seem out of context to me when 2 people madly in love got separated for years...thing which certainly puts me off.....

When one of them doesn't want anything in return only other's one's presence in life...

So don't know what to say, last episode was very nice but I watched it with feeling of impending doom,so now I decided to control my urge to watch it routinely, will see after finishing.

I've one question regarding last scene, should murtasim forgive mallik mukhtar as meerab said or not as maa begum said as she knows how cunning it could be while meerub is speaking on terms of peace...??What you guys think.??

Forgiving is always a good thing n I think murtism will forgive coz meerab said but later this move willback fire badly as the maliks don't play by rules or have morals

So which one is right?

Also Meerab sirf Meri hai line made no sense as well.

Which brings to Meerab? What is she thinking? Is she in love? Please help me understand her?

If we look at Meerab's story, Murtasim saying she's his wife first makes some sense, because if not for their marriage, the truth would have never come out and she'd remain Waqas' daughter only. Their rishta talks gave way to the truth because there was no other way to get her to agree with it.

'Meerab sirf meri hai' is a cheesy dialogue but fits Murtasim's character to the T. He likes to claim things, aur yeh toh biwi hai. Flaw? Yes. But I am fine. Also, I believe Murtasim holds grudges against Anwar for abandoning Meerab and being the source of the pain she went through.
