I agree this episode was amazing! Maybe they’re personal circumstances are making Murtasim feel he has more of right over Meerab than her dad. He did give her away and the adoptive dad didn’t open the door when she cried continuously for them - he witnessed that firsthand. Murtasim on the other hand stands up to everyone for Meerab. He has continuously stood up to Ma Begum in Meerab’s defence way more than Anwar has.
