PTV can be hypocritical in many context too . Both the industry have their own flaws and advantages .

As for the regressive content on tv , i solely blame Indian audience . They see these type of saas bahu and nagins . If trp doesn't come , will they show it ? No ....

but the sad part is people see nagins 🤷

We can also make finite and good tv shows , but but people won't accept it . So..... 🤷

Actually no re I wasn’t comparing PTV and ITV. I was telling my mother that how these days they have to show toxicity to sell love stories Ike how they have to show dysfunctionality to sell family dramas. Like on iTv saas bahu, bahus are always getting blamed for everything and there too the man is also slapping. That’s when she pointed out that the longest running show on ITV which I am always complaining to her about there has never been a slap between the couple, in fact not even a slap from MIL or FIL. Whenever a parent slaps it’s always the real parent and not the in laws. She was also saying that even blaming dil for all problems will only come from one side of the family not from everyone in the family. She was of course trying to tell me ki the show is very balanced and there is a reason it is running for so long. It made me just think if she had a point,

that we cannot generalize, we have to be discerning about the shows we watch. Good and bad in each show and also some good shows and some really bad shows.

PS - as for finite shows, ITV is clear - long running soaps with trp is going to be their bread and butter and each channel has an online platform where they are ready to experiment with finite shows. Indian Channels have figured it out

I don't think there is any problem with the concept of ichadaari naagina but it's the story that's the problem. If the west can show vampires and werewolves and all kind of supernatural beings then there is nothing wrong with the concept of taking a character from Indian mythology. I have seen the initial episodes of naagin S1 and it was actually well executed till it gained popularity and the makers and channel decided to extend it. Indian tv serials just don't know when to stop and put a full stop.

The channel and makers could have very well made all naagin series into 20-24episode long like American series and air it every once an year for 3-4 months. But they choose to treat it like a typical daily soap.

The concept of seductive supernatural being like a naagin taking revenge on people is in real a very good concept. The movie stree has the concept of daiyaan and it's so well executed and progressive. If a well executed movie like stree is made on naagin then it has really good scope to be successful.

I think most expected KWK kinda hyper energy /salicious /scandalous and gossip interview but this was more toned down ,parts script and part genuine.

Wahaj is comfortable with his co stars off camera and one-one interview.Maybe all this chemistry hype he was but guarded in few segments , saw his another interview when Hassan was proving him about chemistry and he was so fed up and ask u can ask me directly if there is attaction and Hassan immediately dropped the topic. Guess he doesn’t want speculation especially when ur married.

Yumna I felt was more comfortable, in fact she did her homework and knew what was this show going to be all about! I liked how she knew almost everything about wahaj and he was being typical guy who is half clueless.

I wouldn’t say it was dull or super se bhi upar it was good watch at-least not the over action ki dhukaan type we have been dished in desi version .

I haven't watched any other naagin seasons except the first few episodes of naagin 1. When it started it was fresh and unique but like any other show it got destroyed. It's high time the channel and makers stop making them.

It's given that the host was going to spice it up - bcz when it comes to TB most are tuning in for the chemistry, even their fellow actors are following it for the same.... and also that's his job to.😈

Plus the no touch condition for the marriage is a huge part of their tashan..☺️. it was going to be brought up..

In the games it could be seen how they're actually comfortable with each other.😊

A different host would be able to get alot more depth out of Yumna and Wahaj.. but this was not bad for a start.👍🏼
