It would be great if they would have balanced both the characters. But i guess audience won't mind watching a good male character, unfortunately we usually get to see toxic male characters, so murtu is definitely a fresh air (excluding the slap which was not needed at all)

From promos it used to look like 50-50, then in Initial episodes we thought it's like 55-45 (initially many thought murtu is an anti hero) then equation changed to 45-55, 40-60 and now it's seem like 64-35

I think it was always about Murtasim's character. Yumna is a big name in the industry to change the story midway.

I think one of the reasons why Murtasim character is more loved is because everyone had little expectations from this character after seeing the slap scene & the teasers. The opinion was he will be toxic and criminal type of character which he isn't. He is shown as sensitive and caring, so his other regressive nature are being ignored now.

Many thought he will be like an anti hero or another toxic male character. Usually we get more toxic male characters onscreen. But when murtu came out as softie them audience fell for him.

usually all the above happens with FL , how much ever she tries she is always not given credit. So yes let meerab be the cool one,Mahanta ki murthi ans ever sacrificing FL- are absolute pain in all wrong places.

For a change we are getting mahan male character instead of mahan female character.

She is nowhere at fault for the accident but the makers show her to be guilty for it and crying over it.
