Ehsan told Viaan that he likes Katha. But he never said that she likes him or she accepted his proposal. So I don't find it as a back stabbing by Viaan. If Viaan proposes Katha even after he get to know that Katha likes Ehsan, that will be back stabbing his friend.

To me, its more like Katha said No to Ehsan, and she will say Yes to Viaan. Its her choice
