People who marry / agree to marry a nice person they aren’t in love with / are not sure abt ….coz it’s “the right thing to do”…and then ruin both lives coz they can’t be committed …

Chalo I can forgive in films where they are literally forced to , blackmailed to marry in a life threatening situation

But rani in mdk for example…why ruin udays happy go lucky life?

Rani in kank or tapsee in manmarizyan…why ruin poor abhisheks life?

Amitabh in silsila …he can help Jaya without marrying her and ruining his and her life along with rekhas…😒

Madhuri in hahk…monish behl is the most sensible character there for saying “why can’t u be the mother figure for my kid without having to marry me…” how can she possible expect to be ok with her ex being her devar in the same house ….gross

Grow a spine…marriage is not some favour ur doing to others or some mahaan sacrifice u will get a medal for or a way for u to get back at ur ex…

As long as your Dil is saaf, it doesn’t matter how much your dimaag is also saaf. 😆

Girl has specs, she is nerd. removes it and she becomes hottie.

Good girls always fall for the bad boys. BW always tries to make bad boys desirable.

Cool but confused girl elopes from marriages on the wedding day as families involved be damned coz you know she doesn’t love the guy who she herself agreed to marry and she realises this right before the wedding

Don't learn from BW......watch for entertainment.....moral lessons and logic are the last things to look for in a BW movie.....u are better off watching a documentary...if u need those.

- you can argue, fight, beat up anyone you find unfair or abusive or dominating in workplace or family and be hero (Seeta aur Geeta, Chaalbaaz, 70s and 80s films).

Nope that does not work in real life. You get severe backlash if you hit own relative or boss back...

- Marriage is the only aim of a woman's life. She has no other aim or desire.

- Women focused on career and education are bad, vamps or traumatised or women focus on education or career only if they get dumped by a BF or marriage breaks or they lack so called love in life.

- Village woman good. City woman bad. NRI woman loose.

- Village people good. City people bad. NRIs evil or sad and degenerate.

- Praying to God or crying and pleading to God banging head in walls of mandir or church or ringing temple bells loudly will cause miracles and God will fulfil all your wishes someday or get you justice or make dead people alive or reunite families or restore vision of even blind person or get you justice or revenge you desire.

- Honest and good people always win or get divine help.

- Stalking, harassment, inappropriate touching, forced kissing or holding hands or dupatta or clothes is love. If she laughs then she is in love with you. If she looks at you, it is love. If she took lift from you, it means she is in love with you. If she accepted your friend request or chatted with you online or sent you a message or replies to your mail it is love and will end in marriage. Staring at woman or creating ruckus in front of her house is love. Giving flowers to random woman is love. She will leave her family even if you bash her parents and brother in front of her.

- Parents of son/man = hero. Parents of woman= villains, pyar ke dushman

- You go to college or school only for romance or love.

Gosh Silsila gave me a headache. Why did he have to marry Jaya “out of duty” or something while he was still in love with his girlfriend? Even after getting married he chose to have an affair with her but couldn’t break his marriage off? Because these people were too “ sanskari” and conventional to do that. Same thing happened in Kabhie Kabhie where Rakhi and Amitabh loved each other but chose to marry other people.

Any movie where people unnecessarily marry to save face is a headache

Or movies where a homosexual marries a straight person and keeps them in the dark regarding their preference coz they can’t come out …

whatever majboori there is, surely it’s never an excuse to involve a perfectly innocent person and mess up their life …and give them heartbreak

…imagine that poor partner must go through such feelings of self doubt, must have not felt good enough/ attractive and must have really tried to make the relationship work and it’s just toxic for a person to marry them out of duty, spite, shame or obligation and not commit to them fully

Worse use that lack of connection as an excuse to justify infidelity ….then why marry, should have just said no in the first place if u had a spine and conscience
