After bombarding us with Pihu, Pihu, Pihu (at least until the time I was even half watching), she gets sidelined for the younger sister? No offence to her fans, but I'm not impressed by the actress playing Prachi. Only plus is the vague resemblance to DP. Guy seems good enough. Leenesh I've seen in a show he did just before IB (which is why I even sampled IB before deciding I didn't want to see it). He was a light-hearted character, likeable. Haven't seen any clips of him in balh and not interested enough to either. I don't remember if I've seen Pooja act, but she sure looks familiar.

Hats off to NM and DP for their work in balh2. We all know how much trash was served, but they elevated it, especially Nakuul. But then. Nakuul did get all the meat and DP was left with us perpetually mourning of Priya.

I just wish more actors would call out the cvs when the story degenerates, instead of praising and thanking them. (But maybe it was all good in their viewpoint?) Only one I can remember doing that is HC after that Ram-Sita nonsense in Bepanaah.

Ah well Niti needs lots of improvement, her panic attack..or whatever was quite a turnoff yesterday. Randeep can act. Saw him in Yeh Un Dino ki...and he was good there. Both Nakul Disha..and even Shubavi and Arohi did such a fab job..so new characters ' performance look quite lackluster. Now whether it will survive or not..that we need to wait, as they have a huge fan base but how many of them are TRP audience ..only time will tell.

Main problem is with the stale story. ..earlier too it was..only actors made it look convincing and initial stage there was certain kind of freshess in the writing too which we can't deny...but here from the beginning they have already started parallels like Ram-Vedu and Lakhan -Avni and many more. They are trying to make Prachi a sasta Cinderella which is quite a cringe...and what weed Ekta is smoking while thinking this Monica can replace Nandini?

I think the highest Ive seen the shows trps go up were at 0.8. Six months ago was 0.6

It started fluctuating between 0.5 to 0.4 after that.

Even with NM and Dp with their huge fan base didnt help.

The main culprit is Sony. I don’t think its a popular channel.

Even with Star being a popular channel during the Ib days. Trps went for a toss during redux and gen leap. All because of the crap they showed.

it was the character of ram kapoor that made me watch this show. He was so unique in itv land of toxic male leads. Yes yes he is dodo when it came to nanadini, but nakul played it with such vulnerability you genuinely believed he was psychologically damaged and was unable to process that his step mom didn’t love him. Also ram is such a pure soul he couldn’t understand that anyone else could be so evil. Nakul acted with such pain it made me believe his trauma was real and his inability to accept the truth is a self defence mechanism. Nakul performance as ram kapoor was even a notch better than shivaay, he got better at subtlety whereas as shivaay he would overact at times.

BALH2 is a successful failure show. Successful for the pairing of ram and priya, we got some of the finest acted episodes. That first dinner date, coupon episode, watching the stars will be some of the many highlights of this couple. Failure as it didn’t reach the heights it deserved.

Arnav and kushi, shivaay and Annika might be more popular but they were toxic at times, but ram and priya showcased romance in its purest form. It wasn’t angsty make you want to pull your hair out like Arnav kushi or the hotness of shivaay Annika, Ram Priya are sweet, tender, love that is patient, forgiving and genuine togetherness.

So thank you ekta for giving us ram kapoor. Everything ends eventually he deserved a better send off.
