Well when the scene came on, my brother who was sitting on the other sofa, kept looking at me, trying not to laugh, I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me, and just trying to avoid looking at my dad 😆.. but at the same time I wanted to know what his reaction is like, so I could prepare myself for the inevitable bollocking that me and my brother were about to receive, except nothing happened, he didn't say anything, I wonder why? 🤣 or maybe he thought we were old enough for him to watch the scene with us? but still, it's awkward as faack.

Or maybe your dad thought if I don’t acknowledge it then maybe it never happened. Suppressing the trauma. 🤣

Baghban was especially made for parents to guilt trip their kids over nothing. 😆 I remember my dad and his usual running commentary while watching the film. 😆

Possible, or maybe he enjoyed the scene that he forgot we were even there. 🤣

Whatever movie has impressed your dad into silence deserves an Oscar nomination. 😆

I don't think there's ever been a movie where he's been completely silent, at least from the 90s/2000 movies onwards. 😆 we don't watch movies together anymore, but when we were teens, we used to watch like on the weekends, and he would say stuff like how the heroes are all ugly, the music is terrible etc. 😆

You only write essays in your own threads? Is that it?
