Fun episode but I couldn’t enjoy it fully due to a few reasons. Sorry to be a party pooper

1) when Maa is talking about Meerab ko kabu mein karna, Murtasim should’ve said Meerab is her own person who doesn’t need to be controlled. Why are he and Ma begum trying to mold and groom her? He needs to meet her halfway in adjusting to each other.

2) why does Murtasim insert random serious threats? Khayamat kar dunga? Andar ka janwar? It’s very uncomfortable and creates a huge power differential in a show hyped for having a “strong” female lead. She’s just noisy and erratic. Not strong

3) Meerab needs to push her law school agenda rather than becoming domesticated

4) they talked about Maa’s slap a lot. Meerab should’ve brought up Murtasim’s slap multiple times during those conversations today. It’s being shoved under the carpet


Still hanging on to my theory that Meerab is Murtasim’s childhood love. He said today “tum haath mein aa gayi”

Also probably is enacting or exaggerating his illness next week to get his spot back on the bed
