I have to disagree. If she can keep her personal life separate from work life than, she should be allowed her child back. Who are Anuj and Anupama to decide who is fit or not to raise choti? Both have neglected choti in the past and will in the future.

Maya could say the same about them. Maya isn’t the first or last woman to prostitute have kids and raise them.

Father may not be in picture, even if he is, we have no idea what their personal life is like. He maybe a great father for all we know. Still it doesn’t change the fact neither Anuj/Anupama are this kid’s bio parents, Maya is. They can’t tell Maya how to raise their child or with who. There are plenty of single mothers who raise kids without fathers in the worlds. Maya will be one of them.

After Maaya episode is over may be the father might land up and demand custody of his biological child.
