Honestly what is the reason behind virat hiding pakhi's evidence.
In precap pakhi was very well present in the home. So she didn't get any punishment for her act. Then why he and his family hated sai to the core by saying she snatched vinu from them.

Coming to your question, I feel Virat hid Pakhi's evidence because his big fat male ego got hurt after Sai filed a cade against him. It has now become like a challenge for him kaun Pakhi tak pehle pahuchega and Vinu ko first ghar layega.
Secondly he knows if Sai finds Vinu first she will take him to her home which he doesn't want as Kaku is now doing vinu ghar ka chirag jaap.
I won't go into that dream sequence part because if we look at it it will seem like Virat is worried Pakhi may try to harm Sai but even if he is worried that doesn't make any sense as Sai is not going there alone. She has the police with her to protect her so that dream doesn't make any sense. It was shown mostly to whitewash Virat.

Yes true. If makers want they can unite Sai and V for sake of kids. It's been so long since the leap.
Or Virat should spend more time with Savi. Fed of seeing VP n one frame.
And P can get remarried and then again keep an eye on V and S and do something.
Atleast for sake of kids they can show some progress. It's not one but 2 kids now.
